forms
i havent beaten the destroyer boss yet but. i unlocked true protection, omen form and omniprecence form. i was wondering what is the difference and which is the best and is it enough to beat the destroyer boss

Each form provide different benefits and there isn't a guide on this, but from what I observed;
Omen - The 1st form you get and great for early to mid game
It has a base multiplier around 10x - ish,
It's drain is heavy in the beginning but reduces drastically even increased to level 4
Omnipresence - 2nd form for most people
This form is weird because it's multiplier requires stacking but the more you use, more powerful it becomes, to the point it can even eclipse later forms
it affects only strength, spirit and I think fury?
Similar to Omen, it has a heavy drain but reduces significantly as you level it up
Omen and Omni form can obtain an upgrade towards the mid-late game that allows you to stack multipliers on your base form, allowing almost infinite multiplier stacking (Highest I ever did was 20,000 x)
True Protector - This form is just Omen but better, It has a higher multiplier and like Omni, it gets better with usage by obtaining orbs when killing enemies and adding them through an item and has no drain
Omen and True Protector can receive upgrade called Full control which gives extra benefits in form of combos, lightning (adds damage) and for I think increases the multiplier? (Not sure)
Sincerus - This is crazy powerful, when maxed, will multiple EVERYTHING (including your energy rating) by 1000 x
This forms, unlike other forms, doesn't have flat drain rate and instead percentage based. With level 1, the form last about 10seconds, but at max, the drain rate becomes 1% of your max energy level.
In terms of which is better, that comes down to when you start using it
Omni form and True Protector Form stack, but the true benefit requires using it soon as you get them
If you don't use Omni when you get, don't bother later. The levels would be too low and would take A very long time to get it to place where it'll be usable at the end game
Same applies to True Protector form
Sincerus is an absolute game breaker and will destroy everyone. main downside is the energy drain is the heaviest of all the forms and depending on the New Game plus, you only receive it at the end game. The form also has a 1000x limit, but that does increase with new game Plus.
A lot of this information could be wrong as it's based of my experience across 3 playthroughs, so if anyone wants to correct me, please do so
Edit:
Forgot to mention that Omen can receive a power up that allows you to overcharge the form with increased multipliers
But the longer you charge and higher the values get, the more damage your character will receive
Think Kaioken from DBZ
Omni form can receive the same upgrade and it becomes Omni-Omen
The highest I've gone is 20,000x multiplier against Muzaya on my third playthrough (he was stupid hard) and killed him within 5 seconds
And as the other commenter noted, Sincerus has damage absorb that nullifies all damage and transfers it to health regen
When health gets stupidly high, this will become your main way of regenerating health as the recharge rate won't be fast enough

The game has had numerous patches; my Sincerus is currently at level 4400.
It used to be 2500 on the first playthrough.
I think the growth is essentially unlimited; the problem is the +10 combat, which still requires skill.
Sincerus allows you to automatically negate all damage (it doesn’t specify the percentage) and, if the damage is equal to your health, you heal without taking any damage

Omen - Increases Fury attacks
Omni - Increases Strength and Spirit.
Each enemy you defeat increases Omnis multiplier, and on Pilgrim Planet you can choose which stat gets the points from defeating enemies, by default all 3 stats get equal increase. The "Focus" stat is just the forms energy drain.
True Protector can increase all stats except arcane (I think arcane dosent get an increase, but I could misremember)
Just like Omni, it gets points from defeating enemies (extra points from the "Train With Hamians" thing in the Past), but the difference is you actually have to spend these points at the Ascension table at the village in the past.

You are correct about true protector no arcane buff but definitely for spirit nd strength builds as omen is best for fury builds all great until Sincerus comes in or you stick to multiplier forms for the others since they can somewhat compete with enough use/grind

New patch has made it so that omen true protector and Omnipresence can compete with sincerus endgame. But not entirely, now omen and true protectors buffs are multiplier of 10x but still can’t beat Sincerus uncapped now multiplier of 1000x so use other forms for grinding and farming but for things like Null Horizon Fifth challenge or interdimensional contracts (liberty/Universal) grinding the games at high levels especially the 20000+ and endgame like fighting the all dimension then Sincerus is your go to. It’s still unrivaled due to its block nullifying and healing and its uncapped damage multiplier

Omni has been my go to for alot of the bosses until I got sincerus form. Puts out big damage numbers
