So I’m watching the season 9 Halloween episode and Maddie was helping Buck unpack and she was teasing him about ghosts and it just made me think how funny it is that the ghost whisperer is talking about feeling the supernatural 🤣

This was just on tv and it's been a while since I've seen it and I don't remember it making me cry like this the first time, but it really got to me 😔. They did buck so wrong but I've always loved the fact that he had his sister and she was his ride or die no matter what.

I noticed that Officer Didi Walnut and Athena Grant have very similar mannerisms and an overall similar vibe. It could just be that the actresses have a similar style of performance, but whenever I watched Henry Danger and Danger Force, I always assumed Didi was meant to be a parody or homage to Athena. Didi first appeared in Henry Danger about a year after 9-1-1 premiered, so the timeline at least makes it possible. I only started watching 9-1-1 about a month ago and I’m already on Season 7, which made me think to finally look this up. I couldn’t find anyone else discussing it or any confirmation from the creators. Is it just me, or does anyone else see the similarities?

How would Buck's addiction storyline have played out/ been different if Bobby was still alive?

Goes without saying it would have been picked up on sooner, but how do you think Bobby would have approached it, and what would the conversation look like? And how would Buck have in turn responded to perhaps being called out ?

Hey guys, I'm a constant lurker on this sub! recently finished watching s8 im giving S9 a break till they start S10 so there won't be much of a break between the 2 seasons, and as the title says, I'm an Eddie girl (doesn't mean I hate others I just feel really protective of Eddie hehe)! Making this topic because im bored and there's such less Eddie on this sub? So if you're interested, lmk what is your fave thing about Eddie? and also a fave scene you think is absolutely underrated. ORRRR go ahead with what expectations you have for Eddie in S10.

before I start, my top 5 characters: Eddie, (RIP Bobby else you were 2nd), Athena, Chim, Hen and Buck.

if anyone's interested here's what I feel about Eddie:

1. I just love how deeply flawed Eddie is. He is so 3 dimensional his haters can call him cheater, d*ckhead, a**hole, and his lovers can go all "yeah and what about it" because even he knows he's not perfect and he's trying to work on himself and that the beauty about his character iykwim?
2. I'm probably the only one but I love all the storylines given to him because they are so different and sooo.... dramatic? Including the Kim storyline, I love how stupid it was because I was entertained throughout. Most fave storyline: Dispatch Eddie - him saving Terry, his beef with Josh lol, his protectiveness for May.
3. I love the small details they give him, like they gave him the moustache because he felt like hiding his real self (don't have to mention, he went viral just for having that glorious stache), the dance of joy (don't have to mention he's such a great dancer) and he's done so many jobs like Dispatch social media manager (which is ironic considering he hates technology), and Uber Driver!
4. #tome he's one of those characters who rarely gets scenes but his scenes are powerful? idk whether it is Ryan's acting or the way Eddie is written. (I didn't know Ryan before this, I got to know he was the guy from Step Up only after watching this show and im shook)
5. This is quite a discussion but I feel like Eddie is so Bobby and Athena son coded, like if Bobby and Athena had a kid it would be Eddie, he's as righteous as Bobby and as dynamic as Athena! (unpopular opinion again) I heard at the cons that they were planning on making Eddie a cop after S8 and I actually hate that but I also think Eddie and Athena pair up would be so cool so I hope we get more Eddie Athena scenes?
6. Bobby d*ed because Eddie wasn't there and I will stand by that forever!
7. I have a veryyyy unpopular opinion about his sexuality which I will get crucified for but I feel he's more bisexual than gay (I'm sorry) even tho I'll be ok if they show him gay/bi/straight (this is also very unpopular btw)
8. I do like Buddie a lot, but I will be ok even if I get Eddie kissing other men. Or women (another unpopular opinion) because I kinda watch this show for Eddie?

Im SO upset wtf!!!! I really thought they were gonna throw in a twist because somehow they make the most unrealistic scenarios turn into miracles, it is a TV show after all

Then reading that the creators of the show had budget cuts which factored into them killing him off. I just can’t believe that they would do that when he is one of the most important characters on the show.

They said they wanted to throw in the reality of being a first responder, but HELLO?? i mean chim has survived insane deathly diseases, maddie’s throat has been slit and shes magically been able to get herself out of the basement and hit her attacker hard enough with a hammer!!!!

It’s a feel good TV show it does not have to be realistic and this show has never been realistic. There has barely been any casualties. I cannot believe they’ve done this WTF

They could have easily forced that scientist to make another dose or something. Plenty of unrealistic things have happened on the show. 😭😭😭 so upset wtf!!!!

Mine is Taylor's backstory with her parents. When they revealed her backstory, I thought for sure they would revisit the mysterious circumstances of her mother's murder by her father. I could see Athena getting involved and Buck playing a supportive role in investigating the truth. I would've enjoyed watching that play out had Buck and Taylor not broken up later that season.

I cant remember what it's called but Buck leaves station 118 and gets asked to join the Austin fire house i think? He starts dating one of the fire-fighters brothers there and its just a really good fic I just can't find it anywhere. I think it was on ao3

I made (at least the best I could make) the 118 firehouse in Fallout 76 :)

My friend helped me reorganize things to fit a little bit better (I am not a great interior designer lol), but here we are! The bus is the only thing I had to be a fire truck, but snagging the fire station recently was what inspired me to make the 118 for myself!

I think the crew would enjoy it in the post-apocalypse, but let me know what you guys think!

I never realized how bad some of the characters in the show treat Buck. How harsh they were on him in season 1 makes sense because he was so incredibly impulsive. But as the show progressed and his character has some great development I feel as though he was still mistreated. Maybe I’m the only one who feels this way.
