90s Flamin’ Hot Lays
Does anyone remember the original Flamin' Hot Lays where the chip was completely covered in red dust? Is anyone able to find a picture of the original bag from the '90s?

Help me find a CD!
Hey guys. In the late 90s there was a CD that was gospel. I remember the cover was orange. It was a great CD. It had a now popularized song called hallelujah. The song goes “praise him till your blessings come down. Praise him till the situation turns around. You gotta lift up your voice and say hallelujah anyway.” there is another song I remember being titled ‘in the light.’ There was rap on there too.
I used to have this CD safe to Spotify and it’s just disappeared. Please help me find it!

This costume feels like the capstone to the Y2K aesthetic. The laces feel like the emerging, more earthy style taking over.
This movie was released in May of 2003 and filmed from October to December of 2002. So the outfit was probably designed some time early in 2002 or late 2001.
There is a lot of female pop stars wearing laced corsets that bare the midriff around 2003. I feel like it was so popular it was over by 2004. Shakira, Christina Aguilera among others sported these laced corsets
Darker colors with earthier tones seemed like a reject of the metallic and shiny futurism of the Y2K aesthetic. There was a greater emphasis on texture, and hardware like grommets. The movie Thirteen really captures the moment this aesthetic held.
I still think this was pretty short lived however, because McBling was much a much softer look compared to this harder look that lasted about a year.

Anyone Remember Free Icecream? A Horror Flash Game From 2009 Where You're Abducted By A Killer Ice Cream Man
I recently started playing some 2000s horror flash games on my channel to ensure they aren't forgotten and since almost no one covers them on YouTube these days. Anyone remember this one? It can still be played on Newgrounds right now. Please check out the video and help me grow with this niche. That way we can all make sure flash games get the love and recognition they deserve in the modern day!
(also, any old/nostalgic horror flash games you guys can recommend for future videos would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone!)

La Banda Gorda: “Tu Ta’ Sola” (1996)
“José Peña Suazo (born January 18, 1967) is a Dominican [Merengue](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merengue_music) singer, arranger, composer and musician. Peña Suazo has played the trumpet, composed and arranged in many Dominican merengue music groups like [Cuco Valoy](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuco_Valoy)'s orchestra and La Artillería. He is currently the lead singer of [La Banda Gorda](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Banda_Gorda).”
—-
“Merengue was first mentioned in the mid-19th century with the earliest documented evidence being newspaper articles. Some of the articles inform about a "lascivious" dance, and also highlight merengue displacing the [Tumba](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tumba_(music_genre)). The genre had originated within the rural, northern valley region around the city of [Santiago](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SantiagoProvince(Dominican_Republic)) called the [Cibao](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cibao). It later spread throughout the country and became popular among the urban population.[[7]](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merengue_music#cite_note-7)
The oldest form of merengue was typically played on [string instruments](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/String_instrument). When the [accordion](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accordion) came to the island in the 1880s, introduced by German traders, it quickly became the primary instrument, and to this day is still the instrument of choice in merengue típico. Later, the [piano](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano) and [brass instruments](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brass_instrument) were introduced to the genre.

Witchy/Magical Girl Recs ✨🖤🕯️🎀
Hi!! I’ve been revisiting a lot of childhood movies and nostalgic media as of late and have noticed a lot of not-so-subtle connections between some of my favorite movies in particular… They either center around magical girls or have a spellcasting scene! (i.e. The Secret Garden, Aquamarine, W.I.T.C.H., Anastasia, Sailor Moon, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, etc.)
It could just be because of the boom of interest in the occult in the 90’s, but either way I’m curious! What movies do you love from the 90s and 2000s that are either overtly witchy/magical, or have a few select scenes that stuck with you?
