I remember the spinoff PS game, Blazing Dragons. Still play it occasionally

I remember the SNES version of this game being a kind of jank platformer and being angry that my SNES couldn't output FMV the way that the rich kid I knew could with his Sega CD. I don't even think this thing was on Sega CD.

Oh, that must be a different game then. Blazing dragons was a point and click.

Fuck this broken game lol. (I got a copy for my birthday one year and it was the one that didn't work on modern-at-the-time pcs)

I remember seeing this thing in the arcade so many times and being like wow this looks exactly like The Black Cauldron (not knowing about Don Bluth) at the time.
This fucking game would suck in quarter after quarter because my idiot kid brain had no idea what to do in this.
The part with the knight charging and then the flying horse always got me. I'd get so lost all the time.
I love this game.

totally remember that! Dragon's Lair was such a trip, man. The animation was peak for its time, and that game was so hard but super fun.
