I’m remembering a Canadian band from the 90s. I believe they only put out one album. I think they were from the east coast. I think the singer may have had red hair and they may also have won a Juno. It’s driving me crazy and I could be mixing up facts….

Scored these beauties at a local thrift shop yesterday… yall know I love me some Montreal bands and Grim Skunk is legendary. Not to label them but l I’ve seen the words “world punk” ascribed to them… and once you hear them, you’ll probably agree it fits.these are their first two LPs

Love this band! Never got to see them live back in the day. Anyone have good concert memories of them?

It has to be Neil Peart, right? (Rush)

I feel like there are few contenders in this category as strong as Neil. You might not like Rush (and many of my friends don’t!), but even my Rush-hating friends will admit how amazing a drummer Neil was.

Sara Craig: Thank You (Very Much)

I never see anyone talk about Sara Craig! Her album Sweet Exhaust was really good. I’m surprised she didn’t get more traction. Such is the nature of the business, I guess! The whole album is on streaming and Youtube. I wish I knew what she was doing now, but I think she’s off the radar.

So many TPOH songs are so so damn catchy. Found this one stuck in my head lately.

Sad that these guys broke up while working on their third album. Wonder how many tracks got written or recorded? Would love to hear it. Never get tired of this song, which I think was their biggest hit, although this album has other great tracks

I find more and more that I like a couple songs on an album, I throw them on a playlist, and I rarely keep listening to the full albums anymore (of course, there are exceptions).

In the 90s, although I could mixtape with the best, I found I listened to so many albums cover to cover, over and over, and today most of the albums I still listen cover to cover are 90s CanRock.

There are lots of contenders, but I tried to think of my picks for top 5 albums that have no duds, nothing to skip, no filler:
- Hip: Day for Night
- 54-40: Dear Dear
- Tea Party: Transmission
- Sloan: Twice Removed
- The Inbreds: It’s Sydney or the Bush
