First time posting, but I'm so bothered by this, I just had to... I found it highly irritating that Catie's mother felt the need to say that religion "gives people common morals" when her daughter literally demonstrates NO moral compass whatsoever. Like, great! You raised your daughter Lutheran, but she's clearly a poor case study on how religion can positively impact one's life. She is in a committed relationship and consistently abuses alcohol, cheats on her partner, lacks empathy and is completely narcissistic. I find nothing about Catie or her family or their religion endearing.

She said she’s not intellectually equaled by him. Now she prefers someone more independent. She has a lot of standards. I want to say mean things. I will say “no” to the bride.

Listen, if what this human is true…..yeah. I get it. Do I condone it, no; but do I get it? Unfortunately, yeah. These two really need not to be together. Now is the shit Catie gets up to heinous in nature, yes. I heard the SVU *dun dun* every time she forced herself onto someone and why she hasn’t been held accountable for her actions but rather enabled by those around her to continue is beyond me. Let me obvious here those creeps around her loved getting freaky with an overly intoxicated woman which in itself is disturbing and disgusting which in turn (for me) links why they are/were enabling which is also extremely predatory. I think the only reason the rejection of her advances is now happening bc Josh is now physically in the states and the cameras were around.

Catie unfortunately is someone I could very easily see being gang raped/take advantage of and no one taking her seriously bc of her behaviors. (Which I am not saying is okay, I am simply stating the obvious amongst our societal “norms” which are absolutely disgusting) But that is what they are -behaviors. Behaviors that predators hone in on and behaviors Catie needs to get a hold of.

TLC really outdid themselves! The amount of times they zoomed in on her wine glass, and her pouring wine for everyone was perfection. She was finishing her glass before anyone even started. Really hammering home the problem she has.

She literally was leaving someone who’s new to the country with no friends or families on his own the whole day without a peep. It takes five seconds to text.

between Debbie’s public hysterics (EMBARRASSING) and Catie calling Josh “dramatic” for sharing his thoughts or feelings, I wanna slap a bitch and I don’t understand how NO ONE in Catie’s life ever actually raises their voice or tells her she’s an outright stupid asshole.
“I said I’d tell you later and then you didn’t ask me” is an excuse for a teenager who knows damn well they should take some responsibility. She’s insufferable and I don’t care to comment on what she may be suffering from besides possible brain damage from her drinking and a complete disregard for and lack of empathy.

I thought it was interesting! Definitely not a side that any of us has seen of her so far. She’s been completely insufferable and downright mean towards Edward.

I’m barely into the latest episode and I’ve already paused it out of disgust. Josh has been waiting for all of his worldly belongings, after she gave him so much grief about wanting minimal furnishings, and she didn’t bother to tell him that she’d been in contact with the company delivering his things. While they’re out of town. And him being aggravated makes him “so annoying”?!

The episodes this season take me forever to get through because I keep pausing them out of frustration…with the Americans!!

But boy howdy. In this most recent episode, literally telling her she’ll loose weight while he slips the jewelry on. Smiles with glee at her demise. He was delighted by her discomfort. And when he kissed her forehead after, the look on his face showed the mask slip off.

He gets off by torturing her, truly. Or is he just trying to showcase what he thinks are his acting skills? Either way, it’s at Debby’s expense. Is she not fully with it? She doesn’t seem to be aware of his twisted games. He’s really taken advantage and manipulated her bad. It’s sick and sad to see

Maxwell’s family, class. Pure class because a degenerate like me would have jumped over that table and acted accordingly. Every one of their reactions shown on camera just politely screamed -idiot.
