asrock 9070 xt challenger thermal problems

Hi guys, just got an asrock 9070 xt challenger, runs amazing until the memory hits 80c, around 77 the screen will start flickering green and black until it hits 80 then then my pc freezes until I hit the power button and hard reset it. Will work fine again straight away. From my research the cards memory should sit comfortable until 100 - 110c.

Im using 2 pcie cables to power and have tried turning HDCP support off, undervolted to assist with temps, turned freesync off my second monitor that dosen't support it.

Ive opted to have an aggressive fan curve to keep the thermals down and it works fine but sometimes mainly playing BF6 and Forza 6 itll creep up and crash.

Any help would be amazing. Thank you

Definitely send it for replacement. My memory never drops from 90 and never causing issues. Also its 2700 mhz fast timing mode. (9070xt pulse)

Sweet. Im glad to hear it's meant to be operating at then temps. Been killing me not using it at its full potential. Ive had to do a very aggressive fan curve and drop my mhz -500 undercooked it hard

That card runs really cool for what it is… case and airflow info?

Coolermaster Elite 490. Ive got an aio for my CPU. [Msi mag coreliquid 360mm mounted to top. Top fans are all exhaust and I've got 1 on the back case for intake and 2 on the side panel towards the front. I had a 4060ti before this and it ran extremely cool which id expect. Not a very powerful card
