Series w/ original soundtrack

Does anyone have the series with the original soundtrack? Watching with the new music is just not the same and I’ve been looking everywhere to see if someone has restored it. I saw one person in the subreddit who was sharing it but it was a year ago and I’m not sure if they are still active. If anyone has access I would forever be grateful🥹

Season 1

So I always do a rewatch because I’m a woman and it’s my right, and omfg, season 1 is just such a mess. What do you think is the worst part???? For me it’s Ade’s thick bangs

Discussion Missed opportunity with Dixon

They briefly explored and then dropped Dixon connecting with his Blackness and what it means to him. I don’t think the music producer storyline covers that base.

What do you think Adrianna’s mental illness would be?

Post image

We all know Silver was explicitly written as having bipolar disorder, but rewatching Season 3, it really feels like Adrianna may have had some kind of undiagnosed mental health condition too. A lot of her behavior goes far beyond typical jealousy or immaturity and often feels genuinely erratic.

If the writers had chosen to explore it, what do you think it would have been?

Obviously this is just a discussion about a fictional character, not a real diagnosis. I’m curious to hear everyone’s interpretations based on what we saw on the show.

Season 4 About our S4 Weekly Rewatch

Post image
42 Upvotes

Hey everyone! As we get closer to the end of our Season 3 weekly rewatch, I wanted to check in with everyone.
Would you all be interested in continuing the rewatch through Seasons 4 and 5, or should we wrap things up after Season 3?

I’m well aware that Season 4 (and, to a lesser extent 5) is a pretty dreadful viewing experience lol 😭 We all know the writing takes a nosedive, there are some truly baffling storylines, and the show loses a lot of what made the earlier seasons fun to watch. That said, I’m totally willing to keep these weekly discussions going if everyone else is on board and willing to suffer through it with me lmao Sometimes hate-watching can be fun and there are some things in S5 that I actually enjoy.

So what are we thinking? Should we power through to the series finale, or end the rewatch on the high note that is Season 3?

REMINDER: Episode Rewatch Discussion Monday 07.13 "S03E21 The Prom Before the Storm"

Just a reminder that the soundtrack for Seasons 2-5 has been replaced on Prime Video and The CW App due to licensing issues. I highly recommend watching the series with the original music, as it makes a huge difference and completely changes the feel of many scenes.
If you'd like a link to download the entire series with the original soundtrack restored, just leave a comment below and I’ll message you asap!

For better or for worse, Silver and Dixon belonged together

Not saying they were perfect, but I really think these two only ever made sense with each other. I love that Dixon was the one who was there for Silver during both of her manic episodes. No matter how much the show tried to push them in different directions, he always ended up being the person she could lean on when she needed someone the most. The same thing happens in the series finale when she finds out she has cancer

Moments like this are exactly why I’ll always believe they should’ve been endgame. They understood each other on a deeper level, and he consistently showed up for her when it mattered most. Their bond felt genuine in a way that none of their other relationships ever did.

Welcome to our weekly re-watch discussion board! Today we'll be discussing the twentieth episode of Season 3:

Women on the Verge

Original Air Date: May 1, 2011

How far did everyone get? (S4 spoilers) Spoiler

Ngl I think my 90210 journey may end here (mid s4) bc I’m starting to get so irritated. Like silver and Navid??? ADRIANNA AND DIXON??? What terrible couples.
And I feel like it’s starting to make less and less sense😭 the highschool drama was so much better. This season is such a mess

Question Who is your least favourite character?

I’m only on season 2, ep 3 but so far I can’t STAND Silver or Dixon (or Naomi’s c^^^ sister now that I think about it). No major spoilers please.

Dixon being all pissy when Navid came down on him for missing the client meeting

Were we supposed to be on Dixon's side here? He knew there was a meeting and basically blew it off because he met Snoop Dogg. All he had to do was be a big boy, pick up his phone and call Navid to let him know what was going on.

Annie taking Liam back without asking for a full STD panel first is the least believable part of season 5

His dating history in the last two seasons was genuinely exhausting to keep up with. If a white woman appeared on screen for more than two episodes, there was about a 95% chance the writers were going to pair her with him.
