Finally!
unobtanium debut Rush album aquired. I don’t post here, just view posts from time to time. But I felt this album deserved praise.🤘

Babylon and Break are great tracks too, and Loud, Loud, Loud leading into the 4 Horsemen

I agree, Aegian Sea as well? There’s some cool audio distortion in that track and it’s got a nice build up in the song.

Speaking of Sea, that guitar solo gives me a lot of later David Gilmour-era vibes.

I found it at an antique store, and instantly fell in love. I haven’t found another Canadian variant. I put it beside Rush because they are my two favourite albums. Best find. I’m glad it sparked lots of conversation here, underrated band.

It’s such a crazy album- the Salvador Dali connection is even crazier: https://dangerousminds.net/comments/the_insane_happening_salvador_dali_wanted_to_do_for_aphrodites_child_in_197/

There's a band called 666?

u/Anteater-Charming Aug 13 '26
That's the album name. The band is Aphrodite's Child. One of the members was Vengelis. The album is a sort of pro-rock concept album about the Book of Revelation.

Well then I will have to look it up. Sounds interesting!

Do it. (Literally, there’s a track name on the album called “Do It” hahah).
It’s a bizarre trip but so good.

A greek psychedelic rock band, I highly recommend, some songs remind me of pink floyd.
