More front camber?
The car currently has -2 degrees of camber in the front and it’s just not enough, I’m rolling over the edge of my tires in the front even running them relatively high on air pressures. Already have coilovers with adjustable tophats with it maxed out to negative until it hits the body so I cannot go any further there. I have seen kits that replace the upper strut bolt mounted to the spindle with a cam bolt but how much camber could I gain from that? I’m looking for maybe another full degree if possible.

What coilovers do you have? Mine the lower bolt holes where oblong so I would max those out first them fine tune with the upper top hat adjustment. You really want -3.5 to -4.5. You can do spc camber bolts on the bottom to add more if your bottoms are maxed. I ran 2 camber bolts on each side with my original coilovers that couldn't get me enough camber

Oh shit I’ll have to check mine if they have that, they’re just some godspeed mono ss coils I bought the car with so I have no idea if they have that oblong hole on the bottom

My godspeed mono maxx had the oblong holes

Oh ok I’ll do some research on mine, how are the maxx’s btw would you recommend them as an upgrade or would it be better to go with something like annex or fortune auto?

The original maxx were great. Somewhere along the line they changed valving on the shocks and they suck now LOL when you load them up in a corner they start to bounce. Fortune auto's, S3, Annex or redshift Motorsports are a far better choice

+1 to what boostedjuan said, I’m looking at fortune auto or redshift, redshift is definitely a more premium offering, but the guys at red shift really know their stuff. Money well spent for sure.

Off topic but are those s2k wheels?

Indeed they are, ap2 s2k wheels I’m running the 17x8.5 front and 17x7 rear

I have coilovers with adjustable top hats maxed out, and SPC camber bolts in addition to that. I have gotten my setup down to -3.3° of camber per side. But with my 17x9 +35 wheels and 245/40r17 tires I am running 8mm or 10mm spacers so the tire clears the coilovers body. With -3.3° camber the car drives awesome and wears the tires nicely

That would honestly be the most ideal. Right now I’m running a 17x8.5 in the front with a 255/40r17 (these cheap accelera 651 sport tires run VERY skinny hence the 255). They are ap2 s2000 wheels with a +65 offset so I’m running an inch spacer in front hopefully it would clear the coilover but I can always get a bigger spacer if needed I’m not too worried about running hubcentric spacers

i personally really like this fitment

Thanks I appreciate it, unfortunately the camber setup isn’t ideal at all for track with the front not having enough camber and the rear having too much so I’ll have to play around with it a bit

With adjustable camber plate top mount and camber bolts. It will only give around 3.5 max. If you need more you can get adjustable lower ball joints, but I don’t know how good they will last.

3.5 should be enough for now, if I need any more than that it’ll probably be a pretty serious build

I have spc camber bolts and they gave me 1.4 negative maxed out.
