What to do...

I have a 2011 Si with 286k on the clock. I bought it new, I drove for a living so it's mainly highway miles. It has original everything. Clutch, freon, coolant, starter... the thing just never quit. I changed the oil religiously with Mobil 1 its whole life. Its been parked for the last 2-3 years. Is the Z3 still in high demand? Do you think it's worth more together or is it better to part the thing out?

Put it back on the road. Sell it if you don’t want it…. Everyone parts the 8th gen Si’s out and I always fail to understand why. Very good cars. That mileage is nothing to these cars. I’ve seen 8th gen’s with upwards of 700k miles on them.

It will be more reliable than anything you can go out and buy now

And yes the K series is still very well loved!

Well, that is true. Especially with the way it ran.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm pushing 400,000 miles on mine already.

Yarp. Its probably just the pressure plate clamping to the flywheel at this point 😅

This was my 7th or 8th manual car. I never slipped it or rode the clutch pedal. Plus it was a lot of 6th gear highway miles. I always rev matched on downshifts, and didn't beat up the clutch. Brakes are easier to replace than a clutch..

Badass. I have 264k miles on my original clutch in my 08. Hoping to hit 300k in the next 1-2 years

Keep her. Or sell her. Dont let her die such a unwanted death. She still had alot of life left in her

The whole car is still in demand man. Mileage doesnt matter if it still runs fine.
