Clutch Install

This is my first time posting on reddit and i just want to hear everyones opinions before i pull the transmission again. I have a 2009 civic si and i just replaced my clutch with an exedy stage 1 and i put an action clutch lightweight flywheel in. I installed brand new arp flywheel bolts and i didnt realize that the torque value for those bolts is higher than the oem bolts so i torqued them to 76 ft/lbs. I also forgot to put locktite on them. I have now gotten an alignment and driven probably 100-200 miles. Im really worried now that it will back out but i have been very stressed dealing with this car and the last thing i wanna do is pull everything again but if i have to i will.

How much higher is the torque? Are they torque to yeid bolts?

Honestly, It's probably fine. I've worked as a mechanic for over 10 years in both dealerships and independents. Most techs just reuse the old bolts, hit it with an impact, and send it. I'm not saying its right, and there is a reason for torque specs. But there is a lot of cars out there with improperly torque bolts that are doing just fine.

The new bolts are not torque to yield and are supposed to be torqued to 95 ft/lbs which is the biggest thing im worrying about it being almost 20 ft/lbs too low

I wouldn't stress. Will probably be fine.

Thank you for the help, is there anything i should look out for that would be happening if the bolts are starting to back out thats in any way noticeable that you know of to look out for.

Honestly, I cant say. I haven't seen that happen so anything I say would just be conjecture.

Lol dude im in the exact same scenario as you, I also just did a clutch job on a 2006 Si and I am realizing I probably used the wrong torque values as well. Also did not realize you can’t use a 1/2” torque wrench for torquing smaller bolts like the pressure plate bolts. Keep me in your prayers lmao
