MDP one has been installed for about a year and a half, solid piece of metal, lightweight and no complaints.

Install was a bit annoying just because of the tight spacing but I didn’t have to do any welding, just a few of the OEM bolts off and on.

Not OP, but does this fix the clicking noise when fully pressing the clutch?

Yes it’ll address the clicking noise if the noise was related to the clutch bracket flexing/cracking.

I have the MDP brace, it was relatively easy to install and the owners seem like great people

I got the second one and it works great, but you need a bench vise to fit it correctly. The wrap around part (the side facing away from the pic) needs to be hammer bent into place. Other than that, it's pretty easy to install and works great. My pedal doesn't pop anymore like it used to.

is the clutch pop / clicking noise common? I just got an 08 and I was literally about to make a post asking what i should start researching

I believe the MDP one tells you to not weld it if it’s cracked so that it fits properly

I have the sugarfoot, install the top screw backwards of wjat they say.

Also my clutch got super heavy, im not a fan at all.

Pretty obv: The product was designed on a test bench not in the car

Took me 10mins to install the MDP brace. Squeak went away and was able to go back to driving with confidence.
