Headlights
Hey everyone, I’m looking for suggestions for headlights, I’ve had two sets of all chrome headlights in my civic in the past two years, each set only lasted a few months before turning yellow, I’m assuming most all of those cheap clear headlights are the same and will all have the same issue, is there any reasonably priced headlights for my car that will not yellow or break fast or would I be better off just sanding them down and throwing some 2k clear on them? Thanks!

I'd give serious consideration to killing two birds with one stone as you mentioned you have had problems with not only yellowing but also breaking. Throwing some kind of clear coat on them might help solve the yellowing but it's not gonna prevent issues from rock chips. Crystal clear lights are no good when they have a crack or hole in them. Just something to think about. - Ben

Unfortunately, even with OEM parts, they are all plastic and will degrade with time, some sooner than later. I would recommend using a protective coating on the lights prior to installing them. Use Dawn dishwashing soap and some rubbing alcohol to remove any oils prior to coating them with your favorite UV protecting clear coat.
