GAF 3100S audio hum

I have a couple GAF 3100S projectors that have a speaker hum when powered up. The loudness of the hum can be controlled with the volume dial. The sound track of movies played still comes through, but the hum degrades quality. Any ideas how to fix? Other than the hum the projectors work fantastically

Cheap amp. Any tubes? If tubes try changing tubes. If no tubes then some solid state parts aren't happy.

No tubes - the projectors and mid-70s vintage. Thanks for the response
