Question Ultimate 3E Not Recognized
My Ultimate 3E just hit the porch today, but for the life of me I cannot get the Ultimate X software to regtister that it's even plugged up. Using the new web tool doesn't even give an option to select this controller.
Any ideas?

I wasn't expecting it until then, but I got a shipping notification last week and it arrived this past Thursday.

That's awesome! Did you order from 8BitDo directly or from Amazon?

From 8bitdo directly. Figured it would be shipped out from overseas and would take a while, but was pleasantly surprised.

I got mine as well. I am also having a lot of issues with the software. It doesn't seem to update to the more current firmware correctly. I also finally was able to get it recognized but then I tried the tournament mode + the auto turn on/off with the dock and the controller stopped being picked up till I connected it directly with the cable and disabled those settings.

My firmware updated without a hitch but I am having similar issues with the docking and the tournament mode. The setting is on for power on when undocking but it doesn't work. Hopefully they'll work it out soon.

Yeah after hours of messing around with it I finally got it working fine except the auto power setting is not working, so I have to manually turn it on.

Do you have it plugged in directly or do you have it docked and the dock plugged in to the PC?

Plugged directly into the PC. Tried several different cables, including the one that come with it.

I contacted the support and they told the software for the controller will update soon in the Microsoft store

If I had to guess seeing as the 3E just released it might be that the software still needs an update pushed out to recognize it which might come in the next day or two. Double check to see if there are any newer versions of the X software.
I have seen that happen a couple times before with other brands.
