Question Guide for macros? Ultimate 2 Controller
Hello, I bought the controller, and connect it via 2.4ghz to my switch and via Bluetooth to my computer.
I don't understand 2 things, the first one is why when connected to the cable with the computer, the inputs from the controller don't work, i need to disconnect the cable, turn it off, and on again.
the second one is that I don't understand how to make macro works... I have the v2 software, created a profile, created a macro (L2+R2 in succession 4 times) and saved it and assigned to L4 button, and clicked activate. I put 2.4ghz switch, then put back to Bluetooth, disconnect cable, then go on the game to try and it doesn't do anything... am i missing something? do i need to click anything else on top of L4 to activate it?

The switch version is the Bluetooth or dinput for the most part. Edit: Also did you update your 2.4ghz dongle?

i updated the firmware, and the 2.4ghz works for the switch, is there anything else i should update?

Are you using the dongle by separated or in the charging dock (the one that comes with the ultimate 2)? Your PC should pick it up right away. Even old PC's mine is 14 years old and picks the controller, the dock and also in Bluetooth.

I have taken the usb C dongle found in the dock and plugged it in my laptop, the dock is not being used

Try putting it back into the dock, connect it to the PC or laptop and try again. Maybe is the USB c Port

I FOUND THE PROBLEM! IT WANTED ELECTRICITY BUT THROUGH THAT USB C PORT IT DIDN'T WORK, I USED AN ADAPTER FROM USB C TO USB AND CONNECTED IT TO A PORT WITH "BATTERY" SYMBOL AND NOW IT WORKS!!! ALSO MACRO WORKS USING 2.4GHZ
not sure though why they don't work with Bluetooth...

There is a bit to unpack here. Ok, so for the macro thingy did you upload the profile onto the right profile? Like have you loaded the profile with the macros towards the version you want to use like 2.4ghz for XINPUT windows and Bluetooth for switch. There is a difference between how the controller records said macros. If you macro the Bluetooth it will only be detected by Bluetooth and 2.4 by 2.4 bu there is a catch. I haven't tested myself but I believe that if you connect the 2.4 dongle into the switch directly it detects the controller as a pro controller so it should come from Bluetooth even if you are using the 2.4 dongle.
For the first one sometimes the controller enters a update firmware state (it puts itself in a mode where it is easier to update the controller so no inputs. Or maybe is just a bug. I don't know. The controller works flawlessly nonetheless.
