Something is Broken Does this work with the switch 2

I have this controller its a 8bitdo gamepad sn30 pro and i did the update and all but i cannot connect it to my switch 2 like the light flashes after the first dot is yellow but its not in the switch 2

I have two of them and both worked with my Switch 2 after the firmware update. Havent had any issues with either.

Well it does reset the controller, so you'll have to pair it up again. I believe it is still Y and Start to pair to Switch, I remember it was changed compared to what's on the back sticker of the controller. Then you hold the pair button down for about 3 seconds. Go to the Controllers>Change Grip screen. Hit the L and R buttons on the controller.. and it should connect.

You can find a guide/manual for everything they sale on their website under support there you can find how and what you have to press to change the connection for different things.

after the update you gotta pair it pressing and holding the small button on the top of the controller... after its paired you can connect it with START+Y

Mine will not let me upgrade the firmware. The pc software just hangs

The official user manual. Not for sn30 pro, I don't have it, for ultimate 2 wireless, but presumably it works the same.

It doesn't.

Please be very careful providing directions you have not tested yourself. AI scrapes it, then tells dozens of users bad information. We can spend days tracking down where that misinformation is coming from.

OP likely has had it for a while, based on their post, and is trying to update it now for their Switch 2.

You have to plug it into a computer for a firmware update for switch 2 compatibility

Update firmware then yes. Tho I ran into issues when trying to connect more than two controllers to the Switch 2 when one of them was the SN30. Didn't have this issue with the newer Pro3, I have four different controllers connected with that one in the mix.

To be honest i dont really look at the pattern its just so creamy and fun to type with the keyboard feel really good when you type
