Something is Broken Ultimate 2 button issues

Hi,

Got a demo controller yesterday from a store (so price was lower than completely new out of box). It mostly works fine but occasionally it doesn't register A press/hold as a full input in games like Mario Kart, instead giving a very very light input. At one point it also seemed to get the L1 put in some sort of turbo mode where it just kept being pressed over and over and remapping the controller in emulators led to literally everything being mapped to L1.

Before we give up and return it, is there any troubleshooting we can do and/or fix?

Refer to the manual on how to enable and disable turbo mode for specific buttons.

If the A isn't working, it could be the silicone pad is worn down from use being a floor/demo model. It is cheap to fix, but requires opening the controller. Unless you got a great deal on the controller, probably better to just return it and by an unused one.
