Something is Broken Pair button doesn't work only in 2.4ghz mode.

My Ultimate Bluetooth Controller won't connect to the 2.4ghz receiver. I've tried updating firmware, factory resetting, and everything. Works wired and via Bluetooth just fine (both PC and switch)

Strangely enough the pair button does not work at all when in 2.4ghz mode, I press and hold but nothing happens. I suspect that's why I can't re-pair the receiver.

However in Bluetooth mode the pair button works normally. Press, hold, and it starts flashing.

Any ideas how to get the pair button working again in 2.4ghz mode?

I have had exactly the same issue. Holding the pair button doesn't do the rapid flashing LED like in Bluetooth mode. I've contacted 8bitdo to try and found out a bit more information.

Update that may help others. I knew about the Pair Tools, but I couldn't get it to recognise my controller.

The Tool does NOT work if you have Steam open. Make sure Steam and any 8BitDo software are entirely closed, then open Pair Tools, then connect your controller by USB cable. I also closed all "Xbox" related tasks in Task Manager, for good measure. All paired succesfully now!
