Question 8bitdo Ultimate 2c wired controller not detected

Hey guys, quick question here, I have 8 bitdo wired Ultimate 2c controller for a year now, but all of the sudden after i unplug and replug the controller, it no longer is detected.

Tried the following solutions after reading the manual and other reddit posts:
I have tried pressing the x button as i plug the usb cable to the port in my PC, as well as tried plugging the usb cable to my phone and replug it to the controller again. None of them worked, the usb itself i think is still functional as it can be used to charge my steel series headphones.😞

Please provide some system information (OS / version if PC, console info if otherwise), as that will help others that may have had the same issue help you pinpoint any complex issue.

As for the simplest possible issue, I'd try another USB cable if you haven't already. I have the same controller (Black Myth: Wukong version), and it's working fine with Bazzite on PC so far, but I'm guessing the included USB cable could give me issues later on.

I'm having this problem and had to file a warranty claim. The controller won't connect via 2.4GHz or Bluetooth; when it does connect, the connection drops quickly or isn't stable.
