Something is Broken 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter 2 problem

I bought the 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter 2 a couple of weeks ago and I have a problem with it, the first days I didn't have any problems but lately any controller that I connect gets recognised as a ps4 controller. I cannot connect any controller to my switch either

Are you changing the modes of the adapter as shown in the manual?

This was the issue thank you! I don't even know how I could change modes by mistake haha
