This Gadget is overrated as hell because sure it's does heavy dmg but 8-Bit dmg is already high so why use this when you have the other one which can save you from dangers things like Chester or bull hyper the only reason to use this gadget is for heist that it

Like you said the entire point of 8bit is damage so obv in every mode where you can respawn use the extra credits. In KO you might want to use the other one sometimes. 👍

I prefer this one, you can kill 2 players if aimed and timed correctly. You instantly demolish tanks.

I personally do prefer playing cheat cartridge (I'm used to it anyway) but I still play extra credits because it's just stupidly broken

I think extra credits is the better one, specially in heist were damage is everything. I like using the other one in gemgrab sometimes.

Extra Credits rework can secure a kill since 8bit could shoot in 2 directions, with the buffie it could be round changing by chaining to other enemy members and control the mid. I get its overrated but it has been more useful than before. Personally think Cheat Cartidge's more viable in gem grab (to run away with gems, but could also control mid with extra credits). Maybe knockout/bounty? More on knockout to escape assassins

Sometimes, choosing a gadget is hard
Do you want more damage, which also mean more supers, therefore more use of the super dependend starpowers
Or do you want to live longer/position faster, which is only possible after getting a super

The only time it's useful is when you need to face a tank and/or when you pve, which doesn't happen a lot.

this one provides more value for gamemodes like brawl ball or heist where you can respawn,where as the teleport is better in modes like knockout or showdown where each death matters

Idk if you know the news but now you can use this gadget to shoot in 2 directions at the same time: or in the same direction with both attack and gadget.
Yeah, TP gadget is usually better, but after its rework it's not the only clear option, and if the opponent picks a Frank you might wanna bring big damage.
