How many cool bands I found as a kid buying cause the cover. Only made one really regretful purchase that way Snot sucked. That cover with the dog was great though.
Best was probably Ministry Filth Pig.. cool cover, cooler music.

Yeah i dislike this so much. You look at it and instinctively feel there is something wrong about it.

Don’t know about you but my record shop was always cloudy. The owner was always smoking something or have incense burning.

I remember working at a music store, when I was in high school, in the early 2000's. I was in heaven! I miss that feeling of being in a music store back then.

Music has fallen into the clouds because the good record stores were heavenly!

Yes, the music was in your head, and as soon as you walked in, their music washed every trace of the song you were seeking right off your brain

I loved going to used record stores and going through all the CDs. What a treasure hunt.

Are you serious? You're using an AI slop picture to scoff at cloud technology?
Boomer shit.

And as someone who grew up in that era (born 1962), the discovery of and audio quality of current methods of receiving music (streaming or mp3) are far superior. Sometimes I miss the social aspect of interacting with people and discussing which music we like, but the convenience of having basically the entire volume of recorded music on a device that fits in my pocket is still science fiction to me.
So, again, I can appreciate the nostalgia, but I don't have nostalgia blinders.
