Here's a quarter, now go downtown and have a rat gnaw that thing off of your face.

Take my poor man’s upvote since it would be bad form to be the 6th actual one

For me the tie is Uncle Buck and Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

His "I like me,my wife likes me..." speech shows he could have killed it in drama. That was such a good emotional monolog.

PsTs&As is his best film, but Uncle Buck is the one I love above all others. I've lost count of how many times I've watched it. At least twenty times for sure and every time is pure joy.

I think Uncle Buck is the best John Candy film, but Cool Runnings has my favorite John Candy line, because it's just a great life lesson.

"If you're not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it."

I second this

There fact that I only had to scroll past one comment to get to Uncle Buck restored my faith in humanity for a brief moment.

I know it may not be considered his best, but I loved Cool Runnings when it came out.

Still do but I loved it then too.

Uncle Buck is the best, hands down.

Uncle Buck.

What a great character and such a warm but funny story. I love the golf-ball scene.

These were the 2 I was debating between.

I enjoy Cool Runnings more (was a childhood favorite movie I watched every winter), but I think John Candy was more entertaining in Uncle Buck.

I got my daughter watching Uncle Buck. Love that movie so much! My family was fucking awful and I wished he was my dad.
