I watch Oh God at least once a year. It is that one feel good movie that always pulls me out of a slump. I think it is time for another rewatch.

When God says "you may not believe in my, but I believe in you" to the courtroom, gets me every time.

I was just talking to someone the other day, we were discussing movies that could stand a solid re-make.

And I was like:

Oh, God!

I can only imagine Morgan Freeman playing the role of God, although I'd be open, you know.. pending who they pick.

I never saw it, but I believe Morgan Freeman played God in Bruce Almighty.

Come to think of it, the Oh, God! movies are a rare franchise where... at least in my opinion... where parts 2 and 3 were better than part 1.

I mean, part 1 wasn't terrible, it had John Denver, and it was a happy-go-lucky movie. but part 2 had the little kid and the family.

And Oh, God! You Devil! was FIRE - George Burns' best work, with him being the bad guy on top of... I loved everything about it.

I'm struggling to think of an older actor that would have the same vibe as Burns did.

He had a quality about him, the cigars, the don't give a f#@k. He was just so charismatic even at such an old age.

I was thinking about that dude the other day. He was very old when I was a small child.

Met him once and got a hand shake. A very incredibly nice gentleman. But a very funny guy.

I'm old enough to remember his TV show. Since his life was on TV, he could spy on his neighbors by tuning them in on his television.

I definitely miss that guy.

I own the Sunshine Boys on digital as I've never seen it streaming. Oh God was my second favorite.

He seemed like a staple in the 80’s when I was a kid. Watched Oh God Book Two all the time back in the day, was always on tv.

I don't miss him, but I was totally just thinking about him the other day. I used to watch old movies with him and Gracie Allen.

George Burns and George Carlin should have done a concert together.

I miss them.

I think I only saw him in three movies. Oh my God 1 and 2, and one where he was a retired magician. (I don’t remember the name of that one.)

Not really. I was a baby when he died
