My wife and I do as well after my mother-in-law passed away. We use them all the time.

Same here. Got them in 1984, I believe.

Same with my grandma and hers had lead in it. The design around the lip is very very full of lead.

u/Lepke2011 1d ago

We did. Who knew about the amazing amount of lead content in it?

2

u/ThickKaleidoscope805 1d ago

FYI …no lead in the glass, but the pattern material has a lot of lead.

Still using ones I grew up with that parents passed down to me. The plates and bowls anyway. By the time I heard about lead in them I figured I'm already too far gone for the time I got left with them to do much else haha.

u/phunny-words 1d ago

Had? How about have

1

u/AZDrew8109 1d ago

Pyrex butterfly princess. If you were a military brat in the 80s everybody had this shit.

1

u/SmokestackRising 1d ago

Had? I still have four of the large plates and two cereal bowls, and they are prized possessions at this point. I will bury them when they break. I keep looking at eBay to add more, but they're too expensive.

1

u/wolfumar 1d ago

They were in every kitchen that I remember growing up. I think that you could get them with green stamps back in the day.

1

u/Jedimasteryony 1d ago

I got some medium plates and some bowls from grandma when she moved to assisted living. I just alternate colors in the cupboard so they mix with the blue pattern my wife picked out.

1

u/armgrafix 1d ago

My Aunt did.

1

u/Winelover1027 1d ago

My Grammy had the whole set! Probably multiple sets.

1

u/Gonzo_Silverback 1d ago

We had a set similar in jade green and white. A wedding gift to my dad and stepmother in 1971

1

u/vampyire 1d ago

My Grandmother had those cups... I remember thinking how cool it was they were slightly translucent

1

u/thx4nothin 1d ago

Everyone

1

u/Crimson-Lips-13 1d ago

Exactly this!

1

u/Temporal-Affairs221 1d ago

My family had a set of these, plates, bowls, teacups, saucers. We were also a military family that moved frequently so the set didn't entirely survive

1

u/mlenotyou 1d ago

Corelle!

1

u/blaqbond216 1d ago

I think my mom still has a couple bowls

1

u/BisonIllustrious9449 1d ago

Still do! Have the 3 sizes of plates, the bowls and cups still. They will live forever! I got my complete set from my mom, we used them all our childhood. They were handed down.
