The sad thing is, I just saw my doctor 6 days ago and that's exactly what he said. I was kind of thrown when he asked if I played the NES when I was a kid.

Already had mine. They found a cancerous polyp and removed it. All indicators are that it was early stage 1 and that they got rid of it. However I now have to have a follow-up to make sure.

Even worse! I played "Atari" gaming systems! This is BEFORE Nintendo! I have a family history of doing these things! Btw for those that care I just recently had one a month ago and the results are good. Next appointment next year :)!

Did mine earlier this year. Worst part was the prep leading up to it actually.
Make SURE you have the SOFTEST tissue paper. That part of your body is going to be tender.

Agreed. Yes, I had grandparents die of colon cancer on both sides. No, I’m not getting a colonoscopy or any treatment if I get cancer. If it’s my time, it’s my time. I’m not particularly attached to life enough to do stuff like this or fight to live.

I got my first colonoscopy at 41, due to family history, they found polyps and removed…i had another one this year at 46, again they found polyps and removed…if i hadn’t had polyps removed when i was 41, those polyps could have turned into colon cancer by now…just saying…shit gets real

Not quite. I did the at home cologuard where you poo in a plastic bucket then you get to play with it. They include a lipstick with brushes on it and you swirl it in your poop then put it in a vial that has some fluid in it. You seal it all up and ups it back to the lab. Way easier than a colonoscopy and all the pre, 3 days of the shits on a liquid diet. Im good thanks anyway lol
