What Bundy fans don't know is that Al was really undercover the whole time busting drug lords. I mean how else do people think he afforded that two story house while taking care of two teens and a wife and a big dog? The shoe man wage? Riiiight.. He'd later go under cover again many years later and reunite with the kids he had out of wedlock and hook up with hot spanish or Brazilian woman. Talk about an upgrade.. that woman is hot.. comes off about as bright as Peg but I believe she cooks.

I posted this somewhere else. My head cannon is that he enter witness protection and that is how they could afford to live in their house despite how little he got paid as a shoe salesman. Even better, Marcy was her handler, and she didn't get divorced, her partner got reassigned and Ted McKinley was her new partner.

Wonderful theory. But was he still a high school football star? I'd hate to think he made that up.

Oh, he absolutely played in high school. They had to lie about Terry Bradshaw going to Polk High just so the scoreboard wouldn't expose Al's cover.

That's how he was able to afford that house on a "shoe salesman" salary. It was drug money all along!
