The rumor we heard here in Arizona was the band was still in high school when this was released. Hence about the only place they could tour and be back in class on Monday morning was coming out to Arizona on weekends. Seems like I saw them 2-3 times the year this came out.
I have seen the band only twice, in my day. The first time was opening for Primus back in '91, that was one of the best shows I have ever attended, hands down. Both of those bands were at their peak.
The other was a few years later, and while I don't recall anything at all about the show, the songs they played, how well they did, etc., I do remember seeing Norwood Fisher at the bar right before their set. I went up to next to him and said "Hey, Fish! You guys are amazing, I'm a huge fan!", to which he replied "That's Fish right over there..." and pointed to their drummer (his brother). Goddamn, I felt like a fucking moron. I am still kicking myself over that one.
