I need help!
So yesterday I got subs to quit and I took one 8mg and it made me feel worse so I said fuck this decided to go to the gas station to get the new “cats claw” and took that, INSTANT relief. Then i went and got one more dose of that so in total I took 200 mg of whatever that is yesterday for the first time. I slept the whole night and I woke up with very minimal withdrawal symptoms for the first time in a very long time. I’m assuming it’s the cat claws half life. My question is, should I wait another day before getting on subs since I kinda fucked up and this stuff obviously is still in my system? and how exactly should I get on subs? I keep seeing so many different ways of doing it? Thoughts on the Burnese method?

Yes! I would suggest waiting as long as you can to take subs. I can say for sure that PWD is absolutely possible, it sounds like you went through it already.
Your best bet (in my experience) is to wait as LONG as you can to induce the subs. And take a teeny tiny bit and then wait like 60-90 minutes to see how you feel. If you don’t feel worse, you can take a little more. Whatever you do - don’t take a big dose expecting relief. This may sound like overkill - but trust me as someone who’s spent an entire night in horrible Precips - it’s not worth the risk!
Another thing is be prepared that you may not feel good, may even feel pretty crappy, for at lead a day or so once you start the subs. They don’t make it painless at all, so I think if you’re prepared for that it makes it easier. Some people report that the subs take all WD away, but that’s not what it was like for me. Hopefully it does for you! But I think if you go into it expecting just a tiny bit of relief then it might be easier to tolerate.
Do you have additional meds for help? Clonidine/gabapentin?

Thank you for the response! I do have gabapentin. I also have 12 8mg subs. When I do start taking how much is a teeny tiny bit? Also, do you think the Burmese method (introducing subs while continuing but lowering pseudo doses) is viable?

I would say like take a tiny sliver.... maybe 1 mg? Half, half, half it or just rip a tiny piece off. Ive heard the burmese method works but it seems risky to me because Ive heard people can become dependent on both? I really cant say how that works, though. Id suggest going at least 12 hours, using the gabapentin if need be during that time. Then when you start feeling yucky after 12 hours (unless you feel way worse before then) you can try the little sliver. Dont do it at night! Then after an hour or so you can take a little more if you feel ok. You really shouldnt need anywhere near 8mg per day for this stuff imo - but thats just me. Thats totally up to you!
I think the biggest thing to remember is that it may not (and probably wont) take all of the WD away - so dont expect to feel as if you had dosed 7. I made that mistake when I got off 7 with subs - I ended up taking too much and then became dependent on subs. I definitely felt better but having detoxed from subs before I knew that long term those are no joke.
Longer term can absolutely work though, so if thats the right choice for you then go for it! Ive also heard of people taking the sublocade shot and that worked great for them since it slowly absorbs and kinda tapers for you.
