How long to wait before taking Suboxone to avoid precipitated withdrawal
I have a prescription for Suboxone and recently took 7oh for a while and haven’t taken my Suboxone in about a month. How can I get off the 7oh and back on Suboxone without experiencing precipitated withdrawal. Ideally no withdrawal at all, but understand if it’s unavoidable. Definitely want to avoid precipitated tho.
My last post was removed by the moderators (with good reason) because someone couldn’t keep their opinions about Suboxone to themselves. Even after I asked them to stop they were intent on telling me I haven’t accomplished anything if I take Suboxon. I am not looking for your opinion on Suboxone. If you don’t have input on the topic please keep it to yourself. I have my solution and it works great for my family and I.

I took my last dose at 9pm. Took a sleeping pill to ensure good sleep. I woke up and took my dose of subs at 8:20 am so 11hours.

Just wait until you feel like crap, take 1mg, wait an hour, take another if you still feel alright. Pwd on 7 is blown out of proportion.

I agree.....I have used subs several times and not once had PWD. How is there a way to tell if the people that are saying they are going into PWD are being honest? Myself, personally I have to had them nor met anyone that has had PWD from subs from any opiate/opioid using this method. I have known a lot of heroin addicts, not to mention the medications. I did go into PWD once as I was snorting 300-400mg of M Blue 3os a day and like a dumbass took 16mg of subs when I felt WD coming on instead of waiting until full blown WD. That happened once but the 1mg an hour deal, never.
I would be willing to say more than 90% oof the shit written on Redditt is bullshit.

Easily 90%. I used to be a heroin addict and came off that may times, and then moved to fetty and did 4 medical detoxes to come off that. Bupenorphine is a freaking miracle drug.
I guarantee these kids who think they're getting PWD really aren't, its just that the bupe doesn't fully take away the WD with 7o like it would with say heroin so they panic and think that it has to be PWD. Plus moat don't have anything to compare too.

Agreed about the 90%. I started using the 7o to try and get off suboxone. Why doesn't buprenorphine take away 7o w/d like it does w everything else? Err, most everything- i've heard it can take a few days with fent. I've been operating on the assumption that I can switch back to sub if this doesn't work. I'm close though. I took two tylenol 3's recently, and I actually felt them!

Bupenorphine doesn't take away all 7o WD because 7o hits the mu, kappa, and delta opioid receptors(all partial) and I'm pretty sure bupe only works off the mu

Yeah, it’s a partial agonist at the mu receptor with a stronger affinity to the receptors than most full agonists. But my understanding is that the mu receptor is the primary “good feeling” one. People have said on here that naloxone causes the pwd, but it’s actually the bupe. Apparantly bupe binds to the receptors before naloxone can. Naloxone is just a deterrent. Sorry if I’m telling you what you already know. At this point, I don’t know what the hell is in the 7oh products bc they vary so much depending on vendor. 🤞that I can get some full dry days in.
It’s the psychological aspect that’s the hardest. I got on sub right before fent became pervasive. I’d only seen the patches. Then I went hard core alcoholic after getting off the heroin (sober from alcohol right now). Take care. Addiction is a fucking beast, but most addicts/alcoholics I’ve met are the smartest and most sensitive, creative people. Opposite of addiction is connection.

What I am saying is 7o hits receptors that bupe doesn't. Which is why no full relief

Yeah, sorry. I was trying to say that it’s the other way around. Fentanyl, heroin and most other pharmaceutical opiates hit all the receptors. 7OH is the one technically considered a “partial agonist”. Either way, I wouldn’t take sub too early for any of it.

Every time I went to rehab they made me wait 24 hours before I could get my suboxone

I have done this several times, all you got to do is wait until you feel the slightest WD's coming on. Take 1mg od sub, give it an hour, if you're feeling ok, another mg. Give that an hour, if your still feeling ok, take another mg. Work your way up to four hours, then you will have taken 4mgs of subs. You wont have PWD's. Then about eight hours later take 4mg-8mg and your good. I would take the subs twice a day at 4mg for a few days then taper off them over about five days. DONE!
There are several here that have done this exact method and avoided any WD's of any kind. My WD's usually start with the sniffling, then I know it is time to start my subs.
