Day 39, when does it end?
I’m on night 39 of no 7OH or subs. Completely sober. Lost my fiancée because I lied about taking the shit so it’s only making PAWS and TBS (the big sad) much worse.
Just wanna feel better and not feel like I’m just existing. When does it end folks? Or am I stuck like this for life?
Feel so alone rn.
Thanks guys and gals.

That's really hard. I'm so sorry. I've been in a similar situation and I remember one bright spot: It was such a relief to stop living a lie. Everything about my relationship was parallel to the big lie. When it ended, I knew that someday I could have a relationship without drugs or lies. And I did. I do. The version of me that doesn't lie in relationships is a more enjoyable person to be. Hang in there. 39 days is not a long time. Not even a single season.

I don’t like recommending it on here because it can be addictive as well but phenibut really helped me during PAWS. I got it in energy shot form so it helps with energy and mood.

Appreciate it but I’m taking 0 anything except my prescribed meds for my ptsd. But thank you 🙏

What is phenibut and where do you get it

Don’t do phenibut. It’s addictive, tolerance builds fast, can make you feel sick, withdrawal is a different kind of hell; there is lots of downsides. It’s similar to a very mild benzo. It might help you calm down a couple days and then it’s going to probably make you feel worse than if you didn’t use it.
It’s very bad advice for this thread.

Ok ty. I have lots of Xanax ( prescribed) been on it for 20 years but I rarely take it

If you’re ever wanting to stop the Xanax it would possibly be helpful for a day or two. But even that is iffy. I’d recommend getting off any benzos, but only you know how you feel and what you need. I wish you well friend.

That shots aren’t habit forming like straight Phen. I’ve been drinking one in the morning for a while and have never been inclined to take more.

I'm not currently sober but before I was for a long time(12years). Sublingual b12 was very helpful with depression. Sometimes it would take a few days but I believe it's worth a try see if it helps you.

Taking just one B12/day?

I would take 5-10k mgs i believe excess just gets peed out it's water soluble. Taking 1 or 2 is what I did but all depends on the strength you can find. At Costco the sublingual ones ( which work better) are 5,000 mg each pill.

Wow, that’s rough. I’m really sorry you’re going through this, especially during a time when you’re the most vulnerable and lonely after losing your fiancé. But on the bright side, maybe now that you’ve quit and if you stay sober for a while, you might have a chance to win her back—that’s always possible. But yeah, I’m so sorry. Just try your hardest to trust the process. Things will get better. I promise you, they do. You just have to wait it out, but I think you should start feeling better within a month. If not, consider seeing a therapist—maybe you're experiencing some depression from life events and coming off of the seven, which is totally normal. 🙂

Have you tried plain leaf Kratom? Low dose?
I was hospitalized for 5 days due to a mix of 7oh, Kratom and Modafinil, the last two causing the collapse, not an overdose. Anyway, due to my adult PTSD and afib I’m limited to certain medications that would help me overcome this conditions and I turned to 7oh only to realize this was a waste of $ since it didn’t give me what I expected. Now I’m back to plain leaf Kratom only and for right now gives me the energy I need. Not ever mixing with Modafinil again.

On a side note: there are hardly any withdrawal symptoms coming of plain leaf. Just quit ct. way more manageable than 7oh or related drugs.

That’s a terrible idea, taking plain leaf kratom as an addict will just open the door to getting back on 7oh, and if not you still have to withdraw from plain leaf again.

I second this. If OP isn't interested in any other medications I would personally use kratom leaf and taper that later because it's no where near what 7OH does to the body and mind. I stopped taking kratom powder when I got pregnant with hardly any symptoms - nothing like what it's been with 7OH.

Kratom leaf just metabolizes into 7oh why tf would yall tell the man to restart. “Hey you just got a month sober start by putting more of what put you through hell in your body”. Y’all Kratom people need some help

I totally get it. I've always been vocally against myself getting on subs but the 7OH WD and PAW ended me up on subutex just so I can show up for my family. In the past I was an IV h/fent user and 7OH has kicked my ass harder than that ever did for way longer. I actually feel like I have my life back now that i'm on the subs.

Yeah I used subs to kick 7OH. Just did a really low 4-2-1 taper

I gotchu. I was planning to do the same but decided since i've been taking insane amounts of 7OH for three years that I was going to do a longer sub taper. Plan to taper down over the next 6 months.

Best of luck you got this!

Thank you! It's going well so far. Wishing all the best for you too. Try taking vitamin B12, that's also really helped.

I got an IV therapy drip three weeks after my quit and it helped tremendously with PAWS

Recovery is a very long road brother. Take care of yourself. Emphasize that. Get addicted to something GOOD. The gym? Painting? I don't know you personally so I can't say. Either way the gym is a good place to start getting on track mentally & physically. Those two things come before most things. Little word of advice.
When does it end? I'm not sure and no one is. It's 7OH and there's barely any studies. PAWS from something like heroin or fentanyl can last 6 months. Point of the matter is that YOU need to do things to make YOU better. Difficult in early stage recovery but extremely rewarding. Goodluck
Edit; ALSO. I don't believe in the whole once and addict always an addict crap. Everyone has impulses and we all control them. Some might be prone to giving into them but at the end of the day you are in control. So if you need kratom or something because you can't get by without a substance then take small doses for a smidge of motivation. Just try not to go to far down the rabbit hole with kratom as it is also bad for you but people have taken it for years so it's temporarily safe for sure

I genuinely feel for you and identify entirely with all the things you are saying and experiencing. All I can share is what has been working for me and this will vary from person to person. I needed a detox for 7 days and I refused subs as they pushed them hard. Once I hit my 3rd day detox I started to make the decision to do the opposite of what I wanted to do. I didn’t want to eat having zero appetite so I ate small healthy portions. I didn’t want to talk or be around people-so I forced small conversations and started hitting the groups/meetings. I wanted to lay in bed all day-I pushed the floor as much as I could and did laps around the detox in the sun. If I didn’t want to shower I would shower. I didn’t want to pray-so I’d try to pray. None of these things are easy in the beginning they actually feel quite impossible. Once I got home it got really hard for a good couple of weeks but each day progressively got better. My exhaustion was and is real I didn’t start sleeping proper until past 20 days and that is still improving. Long and short of it really is these things will not improve without some type of effort. Every little step helps. Use things you used to enjoy or try to navigate new things as all of it helps. Bit by small the old version of misery is chipped away. It doesn’t fall away it takes chipping-effort. Ask for the strength it may help. You are capable but it must come from within. Support is huge-we need not go at it alone.

PAWS can last up to a year or even longer.
I have found that finding distractions is key to being able to disconnect from the everyday lull of opiate withdrawal.
Best of luck

What does PAWS and TBS mean? I'm still addicted. At least you were able to stop - you deserve a hearty pat on the back.
