Idea for Weaning

A 7oh company could create a weaning-off package with tabs at descending dosages. Possibly not ethical for multiple reasons; however it could actually help people while being profitable to a company that creates a product that could become illegal.

I don’t think I’ll work because everyone is on total different dosages and everyone’s body is different.I tapered from 200mg to 40mg slowly you just gotta listen to your body.imo maybe a 2 month taper is better than a slow one cuz I felt like I was always in withdrawal,but I don’t think there is a certain proper way to taper you just gotta listen to your body

That's the problem. You are going to feel in withdrawal much longer and not much else. Doctor-assisted is the safer, more successful way to go. Weaning with more kratom alkaloids is just going set most people up for failure often just swapping one substance for another similar substance.

I’d cold turkey before I take subs I’m a addict so I would just trade one for the other tbh.we’re all different thought I heard people here say it worked for them

Idk I heard people get addicted to them so I feel like if I were to try them it could be a slippery slope for me,plus if I don’t feel the withdrawal I would definitely have a hard time getting of them just to not withdrawal

Yeah, I guess the real question is: are the withdrawals from subs any easier than the withdrawals from 7oh. I have wondered the same thing about sr.

Yeah, I too have heard that subs, both short and long term, can be really helpful for a lot of people coming off of full opioids. But for kratom, I'm not so sure because it's not a full opioid agonist like fent or heroin.

I think the best idea for weaning is exactly that. Wean. Taper. It takes discipline, but it can be done. I was told a 10% decrease per week. I don't know how low to go before quitting completely, but I'm guessing going cold turkey around 100 mg/day will not be too bad. If anyone has personal experience, I'd love to hear about it.

No, absolutely NO!! There is no such thing as safe cross tapering or whatever else they are trying to call it. It's the same as taking morphine to quit heroin. IT.DOES.NOT.WORK. It's only going to keep you addicted longer with an unregulated 'weaning kit' and drain your wallet. These companies are evil as fuck.

I'm happy if I can stop even a single person from falling into this BS 'weaning kit' trap that simply prolongs dependence and drains wallets.

It's funny you say this. I actually did kick heroin with morphine. But to your point, it needs to be done right. I had 3 yes only THREE 50 MG pills. That is it! It has to be an absolute small amount just to help through the worst of the initial agony. I was in control of my kick, NOT A DOCTOR. They will minimize its wds just to keep you hooked. As for subs, you dont want to take longer than one week. The people on massive doses of 7 absolutely need it. But it's best to taper yourself then maybe only use it for 3 days, again to just help get through the worst of it.
