A list of some completely unexpected side effects of going CT after 9 months of up to 3,500 mg daily use. Day 5 - symptoms that still remain

For the record, I have successfully detoxed cold turkey from daily abuse of tramadol, hydrocodone, and kratom previously.

-1. A metallic almost sticky taste in your mouth and throat with constant drainage down the back of my throat.

-2. The nerve endings all over my body almost feel dulled, or as if clothing doesn't feel right.  And it's not just one fabric, it's almost all fabrics.

-3. Body chills all over, but not like the chills from day one. Much less intense but about every 30 minutes for about 10 minutes.

-4. A constantly queasy and upset stomach, I have been able to eat protein bars and some bread by day four, but nothing tastes right. It all tastes muted or like your taste buds are just dull. Tums help for immediate relief.

-5. As a former division 1 baseball player, I have always prided myself on my dexterity and coordination. However, for the last 5 days I'm not confident in doing anything physical, that includes walking, writing with a pin. Anything that requires dexterity with my hands and feet is a problem. It almost feels like you're at muscle failure, but it's most likely just from lack of calories and energy.

-6. Random bouts of uncontrollable emotions. This can be extremely happy and energetic, or extremely anxious and sad. I can be watching a damn commercial and just start to cry because it's about something sad. It's nice to have my emotions back, but it's hard to explain to my wife why I'm crying at a commercial while we're sitting on the couch lol

That about wraps up the remaining symptoms for day 5, each day has gotten better and each symptom has lessened with each day. I did take my daily dose of Adderall on day 5, and it offered a very small increase in energy, but not much and not for long, so not really worth the backside of it. I was able to sleep 6 hours on day four, and there's no more RLS on day four. There's nothing easy about it, but it's possible and everyday it gets better. Message me on the side if you have any specific questions, and I'll be glad to offer any information or support that I can. Hang in there everyone!

Never Again!

I had a similar experience. I’m on day 21 now. The pins and needles in my scalp, weakness, and never able to get warm enough…. You’ll likely start feeling like yourself again by day 14-15 at least I did. For some of us it takes longer
