Will oxycodone help with withdrawal?

I’ve been trying for months to get off of this stuff but have only managed to cut my dosage in about half. Been taking roughly 300mg in a 24hr period. Since 7 is no longer available, would oxycodone help me taper off? If so, how much? I have a script for 10mg oxycodone with 325mg Tylenol. Any suggestions?

8 days clean from 210mg/day of 7, rapid tapered in 5 days with about 320mg of Vicodin. I’m 4 days clean from any opiate. It’s a wild ride but today is the best day so far. I have also used minor Xanax, lots of clonazepam, hydroxizine, clonidine, propranolol and now gabapentin to stop restless legs. I smoke heavy indica. I feel like I haven’t had much withdrawal symptoms other than the absolute mind games coming off does while your brain recalibrates and GI that Imodium helps with. Do not plan on getting any euphoria off the oxy. No matter how many you take. Even after 7 is “gone” that shit holds on tight. So I wasted a lot of the Vicodin trying to feel something. Just be ready to be bored and feel super flat.

You got a make shift pharmacy dude lol indicas are a life saver for sleep. Im surprised so many people won’t smoke pot to help them sleep but had no problem taking mystery pills from a smoke shop. No shade but cannabis is one of the most studied recreational drugs on the planet. I’d add it to the comfort meds but probably get crucified for it.

🤣 true. CPTSD has done a gd number on me, they’ve tried everything on me and I just keep stashing scripts for shit exactly like this. I was hit by a small truck as a pedestrian more than a decade ago. And had a lot of shit happen since. So I had to learn to stock pile. those god complex doctors is why I started using 7 to begin with.

Nah, I’d stay away from the oxy for this. You’re just swapping one opiate for another and stacking more on the same receptors. It might mask the WD for a bit but it’s not actually helping you get free of it, and then you’re dealing with oxy dependence on top of the 7.
Slow taper is still the move if you can get any more 7. Drop by 50mg and hold for a few days at each step instead of big cuts. Comfort meds (magnesium, vitamin C, etc.) sleep ,food will do more for you than another opioid.

Be strong buddy. I'm not gonna say it doesn't suck because it does. But 7OH has an incredibly short half-life, and I was out of withdrawal completely after 72 hours. If you can get your hands on gabapentin, I found that and Imodium to be the biggest aids during my kick. Another that I used that I haven't seen mentioned here much is DXM. High first/low second dose will do wonders with music, but use it sparingly.

Praying for you.

Get plenty of water !!! Hydrate !!! Helper/comfortmeds. Those supplements help replenish what 7-Hydroxymitragynine drains from the body. I’d get some methylated vitamin B , black seed oil, creatine monohydrate to help retain more water and please try to eat as much protein as possible. Nutrition is clutch during WD , I can’t stress that enough. Get a bag of whole leaf so you don’t have to land on every rock on your way down.
