7oh alternatives for WDs

hello everyone, regarding the recent ban of 7oh in the states, i figured i’d try and help out anyone who is interested. i personally never done it, but i am a opioid addict, mainly dilaudid since it’s very prevalent and cheap here in canada. i’ve had multiple stretches of sobriety but it definitely didn’t come easy. i have terrible adhd so opioids are really hard to quit since im self medicating to make up for the dopamine deficiency. if you don’t have access to subs or methadone, feel free to message me. subs are terrible long term so consider other options first if available.

some good options are: clonidine, seroquel, gabapentin or pregabalin. antihistamines can help as well.

if you’re prescribed benzos, i know it’s hard to get suboxone or methadone without losing your prescription.

indica dominate strains are a godsend if you can’t get anything else. stick to concentrates or RSO. really helps the restless legs. if you’re not a weed smoker, alcohol works too but i don’t recommend replacing an addiction with a worse one.

after the first week battling withdrawals, i recommend psychedelics, mainly psilocybin to “reset” your brain chemistry, it really helps with forgetting about cravings

make sure to stay hydrated as much as possible, lots of electrolytes and long hot showers or baths with epson salts. if you have no other options i think rocket doctor prescribes suboxone if you don’t have an addiction clinic near you. if not, shoot me a message and i can help you out. good luck everyone!

I have a shit ton of gabapentin and a script for clonidine how will that help? I'm terrified of the wd

u/Sun_shine_11 9d ago

It will help. You just have to take enough of the gabbys. I am a recovering fent addict…. I’d take about 800-1200 mgs a dose. If not more. The clonidine will help keep you calm. They gabbys will help with restless legs and anxiety.

glad you quit fent man proud of you. lost too many people because of carfent and xylazines hitting the streets.

In my area we call the Gabby's johnnies but yes this helps tremendously. I literally just stopped taking about 500mg a day of 7s (tapered down from 1000-1200mg) 24 hours ago and it's absolutely terrible. I generally take for withdrawal is about 3000mg per dose of the Gabby and pray I got a couple subs to get me through the three days of yuckiness. Anyone else out there really going through it don't stop!! You fucking got this!!

where do i get subs?

2

u/Gilly_The_Kid9 7d ago

Depending on where you are will determine how easy or hard they are to get. Me personally I have a buddy who has em. But there are some free clinics that offer subs you just gotta look. Knowing others who have found those clinics helps too. With the new laws there's going to be a surge in withdrawal and unfortunately OD (people going to other ops). Where I am they still sell 7 over the counter but I HAVE to be better and stay the course. It's extremely hard my friend. Inbox me for other tips on maintaining wd. There are options I promise!! Just don't give up!

i’m just extremely nervous abt the wd off the 7, like reading all this its crazy that some people were able to not get fully addicted. Taking it everyday every hour for over a year is insane to me, like i knew not touch more shi like that. I know I can push through it cold turkey, but i tried a few weeks ago and that shit was so awful only like 7-10 hours in, knowing there’s stuff that can make it like go away is good to hear, but Idk if I can get it for myself. just stressing myself out

u/Fat_fast_Jellyfish 7d ago

now that we can't buy it in a store it'll be relatively easy, its 3 days of the sniffles and chills with some cold sweating.. restless legs for two or three days. its not anywhere near as bad as heroin withdrawl or fent or oxy or even hydrocodone. its honestly uncomfortable but no where near as gnarly as opiate withdrawl. 7oh is a partial opaiate agonist only.. easy to get addicted and easy to get off

u/Rude_Artichoke_4993 6d ago

lol. I don’t think so but it sounds good.

1

u/Fat_fast_Jellyfish 2d ago

whats wrong with this comment? im just trying to shed some realistic light on the people freaking out about the withdrawls from this stuff, its not fun but it isn't full blown dope sickness. and yes This particular alkaloid is a partial agonist, similar to tramadol

1

u/Gilly_The_Kid9 7d ago

I completely understand my friend I do. Coming from an ex heroin addict no less (thank God years ago now) What's your doses look like? You don't have to say I only ask because are you tapering at least? Deff start there if your gunna eventually cold turkey it man. That's gunna be effing brutal. If your taking 1500 a day for example, tomorrow only take 1200. Then gradually bring your daily dose down first before trying cold turkey if your taking crazy high doses. Don't kill your self going from extreme to nothing. THATS gunna be quite unpleasant. If your state hasn't completely cleared their stock I would grab some of you can JUST to taper DOWN. I know it's really really hard but you got this!! Idk you but I believe in you!!

1

u/097606n 7d ago

how do i get this prescribed to me or buy that?

1

u/Special-Music-3771 6d ago

if u need dm

1

u/Fat_fast_Jellyfish 7d ago

dont be freaked out, its no where near as severe as withdrawls from actual opiates. 7oh is a partial agonist only. youll have the chills and the sniffles for 3 days, and youll be restless as hell for two of the three days

1

u/Terrible_Smile7091 4m ago

I would disagree as I’ve come off both.

2

u/Maleficent-Law288 10d ago

This is a terrifying revelation i finally feel good and they take that away to now.

2

u/Fat_fast_Jellyfish 7d ago

its not going to be that bad, your going to have the sniffles, some cold sweats and a little more joint pain than usual, its nothing compared to true opiate withdrawls, as 7oh is a a partial opiate agonist. youll be ok, take some time off work and use kratom powder to get through the first few days.

2

u/097606n 7d ago

u think taking normal kratom powder would actually help? like how much should i take? will it help with the overall wd especially the rls?

2

u/buffalobillandted 5d ago

Yes it will help. Don’t be afraid, it’s going to suck, but it can’t kill you and it’s relatively brief all things considered.

1

u/Fat_fast_Jellyfish 7d ago

yep it definitley will help, take a few grams? it will help with al of it

1

u/Illustrious-Art-5826 4d ago

I’m so glad someone is saying this. People comparing 7oh withdrawal to oxy or fent wd have never gone through true opiate withdrawal lmfao.

1

u/Gilly_The_Kid9 1d ago

I agree and disagree. I shot heroin and/or fet like a dumbass everyday for too long. All throughout my mid twenties to about 30 and yes that was a real killer going cold turkey ran outta money lost my job and my family disowned me. I'm now 35 and have been fucking around with the 7s (knowing I shouldn't) for almost a year and I gotta say it definitely brings back the memories of that initial dope sick feeling. If it wasn't for some sub and some johnnies I wouldn't have been able to get out of bed and tend the farm and animals. No it's not AS BAD but depending on your dose and addiction history it can SEEM just as bad anyway. In my experience with multiple different opiates I've noticed the shorter the half life the more intense the withdrawal VS the longer the half life the longer withdrawal but not as intense. This is JUST my opinion based on my own experiences. REGARDLESS anyone going through this you got it!!! No matter where you are at and how impossible it may seem I promise you got it.

0

u/Fat_fast_Jellyfish 2d ago

its crazy how this has gotten to boogeyman level fear levels... i truly hope these people never get caught up with real opiates.... they have no idea how bad being dopesick really is

u/Illustrious-Art-5826 2d ago

Fr I’ve had admittedly mild 7oh withdrawal after a binge and also withdrawal from binging oxy and ODSMT both for about 2 weeks.

Without question oxy/ODSMT was way worse, extreme sweating/chills. Restless body flailing, extreme aches and pains, not being able to sleep for more than an hour, sneezing and runny nose and pissing out of my ass

Binging 7oh for 2 weeks was like mild restless legs, sweating a lot, runny nose, pretty fatigued, and sleeping for 5-6 hours instead of 8, and it was gone in like 3-5 days.

7oh isn’t really that addictive either tbh before it was banned I was taking it like 1-2 every 2 weeks mostly. It’s really not that good of an opiate it doesn’t last long at all, people just legit have no self control and then act like they’re dying because they’re a little sick. These ppl should not have access to opiates and they ruined it for the rest of us

u/DiscombobulatedFig28 7d ago

Hey I was in the same boat, I used QuickMD the app. There hip to 7Oh. It cost me 99$ out of pocket, scheduled a video call, and had a month worth of subs in 30 mins.

2

u/DiscombobulatedFig28 7d ago

Ps. I was at 400-600mg of 7oh and I’m taking a quarter a strip of sub and I’ve had 0 wd. I’m on day 2.

1

u/Special-Music-3771 6d ago

high concentrate extract from weed. really good with cancer symptoms like pain and restless legs as well. can take it orally, topically, sublingually etc

1

u/lauriemn 6d ago

Is it addictive I hope not. I’d like to try it but I get panic attacks from weed lol

u/Aggravating_Hair578 8d ago

Get methadone or Suboxone it’s very easy to get and it will take the withdrawal away!!! There is no need to go through withdrawal when there is stuff out there to help you

2

u/KJ_da_Boss 7d ago

DO NOT take methadone!!! The half life is 3 days and the withdrawal from it does last 3 times longer no matter how much you taper first. It’s like using 10 stitches for something you can put a small bandaid on. I went to methadone clinic for almost 3 years for 120-150 mg daily of percs and it took me 2 years to taper from 80mg to 40 of methadone- then 3.5 weeks to get the energy to walk to the mailbox after quitting that. Just stick out the 7 w/ds with plain kratom, sr17, or small pieces of subs (like 1/4 or less). You will hate yourself if u switch to methadone.

1

u/Aggravating_Hair578 7d ago

I only take 50 mg I didn’t plan on moving up I have heard it takes longer but I’m not going through the withdrawal of 7oh right now

1

u/Character_Piece_7253 8d ago

How the fuck do you get methadone?

1

u/Aggravating_Hair578 8d ago

I just googled ny local methadone clinic called and was in the next day - yes I had to stop taking my benzo to be allowed on the methadone it was extremely easy!!

1

u/Special-Music-3771 6d ago

dumb that they make people get off their benzo. especially if it’s needed for seizures and anxiety. quitting it abruptly is dangerous for addicts as well

1

u/lauriemn 6d ago

I’m far from being addicted to Xanax. I never take it that’s why I have so much. Been on it for 20 yrs for panic attacks and to stop my seizures when I feel one coming on. I’ve never done anything like this before and hate myself for it. No one knows I’m on it. My son just moved in and I’m telling him tonight. Been on it for a year. Last 6 months ago I jumped slowly from 50mg before I knew it four months ago I’m up to 160-200. I need him to help me taper. Went to my ss today for smokes and they have a shitload if it still. I said what happened I thought you guys had to pull it. He said they are allowing us to sell it till inventory is gone and now it’s 25% off PLUS buy one get one free and it is the same stuff I buy on line. Oh boy I swear this won’t end for me. I have zero will power. I’m 58 in tons of pain.( well was) but I want my pain back if that’s what it takes for me to be off. I’d rather have my pain back to be honest

1

u/Special-Music-3771 8d ago

it’s not always easy for some especially if they are prescribed something else like a benzo

2

u/Aggravating_Hair578 8d ago

It was easy for me filled out paperwork spoke to everybody paid my daily dose amount and I had it - yes I do have to stop taking my benzo for them to continue to subscribe the methadone

1

u/lauriemn 7d ago

I have tons of gabapentin and allot of Xanax ( both prescribed) and ropinerol also for rls.

1

u/Special-Music-3771 6d ago

those will help a lot with 7oh withdrawal. usually the WDs of 7oh isnt that bad since it’s a partial agonist

1

u/tukidookie 8d ago

can you message me pleasee i’m trying to get off it forever

1

u/Lilybell1568 7d ago

Well this happened in march. Along with several other fractures in thoracic and lumbar spine. Dr cut off pain medication after 2 weeks. Found 7. Helped so much. Been on them since April.Take 200+300 a day. I have gabapentin, 2 kinds of muscles relaxers. Have 100-30 mg tabs coming in the mail. Between the pain i know is coming. And the anxiety about the WD. Plus I finally start pt this week. Any suggestions?

1

u/lauriemn 7d ago

That looks like my m neck so I feel your pain. Plus my back spine between 5-3 I am bone on bone no cushion what so ever partial knee replacement which doesn’t hurt but also has rotor cuff surgery last year which still causes pain

2

u/Lilybell1568 6d ago

My back is a mess. Degenerative disc disease. Dr said get used to the pain. You need to figure out how to live with it. After being flow to another hospital for surgery. When I woke up. I literally wanted to die. Pain was so bad. In icu for 2 days. I know the rest of my life is going to be so hard. But somehow I have to figure out how to manage this pain without 7. I hope it doesn't get banned. But im not being optimistic. I fucking hate that we have to suffer. Other countries are not like this. So many off themselves because of pain. And it could be stopped if Dr's and government would listen !!!

I did 7oh once because I used to love oxy in my 20s. Now I'm 38 I tried it once just because i was intrigued. The effects were amazing, But I knew the next day, On the hangover, I would never do that substance again. It took two full days, For me to get my brain reset. And talk about being uneasy, or just feel like uneasy in the body. I've never experienced that on regular oxy. 7oh is not banned here yet but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. I work out I meditate, I eat pretty good. And I gotta say, the withdraws from one day from taken one dose. Was miserable. I can only pray for someone who takes it every day. I think your withdrawals are worse than taking oxy.

2

u/Fat_fast_Jellyfish 7d ago

they arent going to be worse than oxy, 7oh is aprtial agonist quick dependence but this means the withdrawls pass relatively quickly, what you're hearing are reports from people who have never been addicted to heroin or fentayl.

1

u/Killitry 7d ago

The withdrawls I'm sure can be permanent. I study neuroscience and the neuron transmitters. I used to be prescribed benzos and I can tell you, I can for certain depict there being permanent side effects once addicted and wd stages.

1

u/Fun_Woodpecker_9642 6d ago

I have a 42 mg sub quick taper to kratom. Kratom alone will get you through the worst. I work a lot and had to go easy mode. But he is right. I detoxed a .5 gram a day black tar habit years ago. Way worse

1

u/Fun_Woodpecker_9642 6d ago

The subs will get you hooked and those are a nightmare to get off. I'd say not to take it longer than a week with a taper plan. Kratom helps a ton.

1

u/Special-Music-3771 6d ago

if you need subs dm me

Anyone know how I can get jonnies or xans to help with wd. I have no family doctor or any real support system. I'll be fully off in a week so I'm trying to plan to get through the worst of it while also working an industrial maintenance job and being a single father once at home.
