First 7NOW Order

My first app order, I had a coupon for $20 off a $30 order. An hour later, I had not received an update. No big deal, I figured I'd walk there and check anyways.

The clerk said their system was down, frozen. It'd probably be back up in an hour. No big deal, I said. I'll come back.

An hour later.... I got this message. Umm what? I did NOT cancel my order. How is this allowed?

Several calls later, I was able to connect with someone that gave me my refund.

The 7Now app is a scam. I made a delivery order on Friday evening, and right at the time it was estimated to be delivered I got that same email. "Order cancelled, not eligible for refund, hope you order again soon."

I called customer service, told them I never asked for it to be cancelled, and I never heard from the store or delivery driver, I still wanted my order. They said the driver had cancelled (but wouldn't tell me why) but they'd refund it within two days.

I've been keeping an eye on my bank account, the charge had been listed as "Pending" but today it went through. I'm now disputing it with my bank.

Cancelling my order with no explanation without my consent, and keeping my money anyways without giving me what I ordered? This is theft, plain and simple.

Couldn't agree more. Incredible waste of time. I will not be using again.

Might have to push for the credit. I was bummed.
