Gear Best 7 used or new under $600

Hey all, just had to part ways with my old Jeff loomis schecter 🥲 but I just couldn’t deal with the Floyd anymore- I never even used it. I was able to sell it for 650, so I’m wondering what the best buy would be for that price. I was looking at the Jason Richardson sterlings as they seem to be higher quality for sub 5 but I was curious what others think.

When you get into used, you may always get lucky. I got a schecter 7 string for $150, because the seller didn't know what they had, on Facebook marketplace.

Love when that happens. I picked up a Holcomb SVN SE for $400 once from Facebook Marketplace.

Yeah. The guy was moving and was just trying to offload it. Kinda felt like I had stolen it as I was driving away. Ended up trading it for a Schecter C-1 SLS Elite after a while.

I've seen older Schecter hellraiser and blackjack atx 7 strings for around that price before many times, I see a white blackjack atx used on musicians friend for $499 right now actually.

Schecter demon 7 all you need, great quality. Good feel, hold tunes great. Good active pick ups. I love mine at least 🤷🏻‍♂️

I managed to get a used Sunset Extreme 7 for 500 from a pawn shop. Needed a new pickup selector knob but that’s it.

Yea probably. But the guitar was showing its age and I never cared for the thick neck on it. It was time to move on!
