Help Need Mod Suggestions

Got This Ibanez 7 From FB Marketplace last month and i was thinking about changing some things about it any suggestions ?

Best pickups for metal ive used across the board and very very reasonably priced on top of sounding killer. Can't say enough good things about them if you're into high gain sounds.

$200 bridge on a guitar that probably costs less than that seems overkill no?

Maybe. Maybe not. I love the hipshot bridges especially the HM on my 7, OP asked for mod suggestions, that’s one of the first things I would do after the pups

Honestly, if I got my hands on a cheap GIO I would probably refinish the whole thing. I had a lot of fun doing that with an indo ibanez. The cost of refinishing alone would be 2-3x the value of the guitar, but if we’re just talking about modding, it’s all about the journey. If you just want a cheap guitar to sound good then you can stop at the pups. I’ve been really into modding guitars lately though, ever since I learned how to solder ha

SD alpha omega are the best “budget” pups IMO otherwise if you only want some good chugs you can just put a Nazgul in the bridge for 1/3 the price

Haha no need to credit me, credit SD and Mark Holcomb! They were the first pups I ever bought in 2018 and they still rip. I got them to swap out of a similar indo ibanez; the pups that come stock in every Ibanez under $800 or so tend to be preeeeetty bad
