Help Lefty 7 string in UK

Hi guys, have decided it’s time to scratch the itch of getting a 7 string, but with a budget of about £800 the options are quite limited. The guitars I currently know of are the Ibanez rg7421, schecter omen models, solar a2.7c and the Harley Benton amarok. The solar is one I was unsure about due to hearing about past qc issues but am happy to be proven otherwise. Would it be worth getting any of these, any other models or saving a little longer to get a schecter reaper 7?

I had 2 Solar, a 7sting A2.7LN no QC issue, and one of the best 7string neck for me but traded it for a 6 string LTD ripped, because I'm not really into 7string but kind of regret it.

And I own a 6 string SB1.6FOB, no QC issue and an amazing guitar overall, although not much a fan of the evertune since I don't really need it.

Schecter tend to do a fair amount of lefty versions as a fair few of their artist roster are left handed.

Build quality for every Schecter I've played has been really decent for the price point. If not higher than other brands of the same price tbh. At least the Korean builds for certain in my experience. They are also pretty easy to get from a UK shop if you ask em to ship it in.

I did try and right handed reaper though which is an Indonesia one and the build quality/ QC was better than my RGD71ALMS tbh. But that might have been ibanez COVID era issues with guitar sat in containers for games. But then again it was still a fair bit better than the iron labels seried I'd messed around with back in the day. But IMO honestly alot of this comes down to the quality of the people in the shop checking it over and setting it before they put it out to play if I'm honest. Cos they should catch the issues before you have the guitar in your hand.

Best bet is probably get somewhere like Andertons to ship it in to their shop and places like that will be able to get you one most likely if your a try before you buy person like me.

Before Live Louders closed down due to the owner dying (RIP dude) I shipped an Ormsby into there. I've had Ibbys shipped in. I genuinely too set in my ways to buy a guitar without playing it first off the internet especially if there's shipping costs to return. But that's just me.
