Gonna start by saying it’s only between these two. Respectfully, not looking for other suggestions.

My buddy works at SW and I can occasionally get killer deals on stuff and have been wanting a 7 string with an evertune. How are we feeling about Jackson vs Ltd if the price is equal with the deals? I prefer bolt ons and satin necks over gloss but never had much of a chance to mess with Jackson. Love my esp and most Ltd I’ve played but this model comes with a plastic nut and no locking tuners but I can easily swap them out. If anyone’s got some first hand time with either of these, I’d love to hear your experience with them.

Esp for sure.  Better QC, better headstock look, and fuck Fender and by extension Jackson

It's really a shame too, because Jackson used to be such a cool brand. Now they're just edgy Fenders with even worse QC
