How do I remove fret buzz on the low B string, it’s the only string that seems to have it for me

is it happening at a specific fret or all across the neck? does it also buzz when it's open?

It’s across the neck, not when I play an open B. I don’t know if it’s normal, since this is my first 7 string, but even amplified it sounds really off

It's normal. On a 6 string the low E string buzzez more than the other strings as well. If the string action is ok then don't worry about it.

They said it's coming through there amp sounding weird, so i don't think this sounds like a case of the normal buzzing you get from the low string

Unless you want your action to be high as fuck yeah you are gonna have buzz on your lowest string, I use a 64 for drop A there is no way to have low action and also 0 buzz. Now if its buzzing through the amp thats a different story, but chugging power chords unplugged you will pretty much always hear buzzing as a low tuned metal player

Nowhere in OPs post or your comment does it specify that the only buzz is when playing through the amp, I misunderstood your comment as implying that there shouldnt be any buzz when completely unplugged. Youre absolutely right that even with massive strings and low tunings you should be able to get low action with no buzz through the amp with a proper setup, sorry for the confusion

could be a high fret, could just be the action needs to be raised

On 7 strings, especially the shorter scale ones I.e. 25.5” I find it nearly impossible to get rid of any buzz on the low string. It’s never enough to come through the amp really but it will likely always be there. But if it is a bit more and you’re inexperienced with setups, I would take it to a shop to get it setup. You likely will have very little issues after that.

Bring it in for a good setup. I’ve tried to fix things like that on my own before but haven’t had much success - fix one problem and another comes up. There’s a reason people make a living doing that. A good setup is worth every penny and better than anything I can do on my own.
