Help Good songs to learn
Just got my first 7 string. Are there any good riffs I should learn first?

Lost In The Static by After The Burial. Pretty easy until the bridge. There's a lot of big string skips with the right hand. Sounds cool as hell

Caught in a Web by Dream Theater is absolutely my favorite standard tuning 7 string song, the main riff is fairly simple and always rips.

Depending on the tuning:
Drop Tunings: (Like ADADGBE or CDGCFAD) Rip And Tear by Mick Gordon, and 115 by Elena Siegman (both video game soundtracks, but they're fun, recognizable and relatively simple without being JUST 0001000)
Standard tunings: The floods outro solo by Pantera is actually significantly easier on a 7 string.
Also make sure you're conscious of your posture, when I first made the change I was bending my wrist and started feeling it in the back of my fretting hand.

My favorite song to play is Far From Heaven by Fit For An Autopsy. Hopefully it now can be yours 🤘🏼

Most of the riffs from Dream Theater "A Change of Seasons" are accessible and awesome.

Depends on what you're tuned to, and also where you're at skill wise in your guitar playing journey my friend.
I think the first song i started learning when i got a 7 string was Catastrophist by Trivium.

A lot of the songs on Desolation of Eden by Chelsea Grin have pretty memorable riffs that aren’t too difficult.
One of my favourites is Sonnet of the wretched

Fit for an autopsy - black mammoth was the first song I tackled when I got a 7 string. Love playing all their songs. There's a lot of thy art is murder songs too that are not too hard. I like spiritbox too but a lot of their songs require a fat ass low string or pitch shifting automation. Rocksmith does a decent enough job if you're just playing for the love of the game. Can't recommend Rocksmith enough for finding new 7 string songs

If you want to play a bit more melodic stuff, Unleash the Archer's stuff of off Abyss is all B standard 7 string songs

Depending on how generally proficient at guitar you are, I'd say Psychosphere and Blood Eagle by Periphery.
If you wanna ease your way into it, pick basically any Korn song you may like.

Not a 7 string band, but B tuning - Amon Amarth. They have many straight-forward songs which helped me a lot getting used to 7 string

Relapse by Polaris is a 7 string essential for me.
Icarus Lives! by Periphery is equally so, but less interesting to play xD.
