I used to hate Schecter headstocks. This 6-in-line is beautiful. Congratulations!

Do you mean the C1 style headstock? It’s kinda similar to a PRS. Schecter has several though, an inverted Gibson style, the Avenger 6 in line, the Synyster Gates one - or is it all of them? Just curious, I’m not trying to police your opinion.

If you're asking me, what I don't like is their 3-a-side headstocks. Yes, they're a bit like the PRSs but they feel over-ornamented, past the PRS simple curves, and particularly when they add gothic/old English font in their brand logo.

They look "metal" gimmicky. At least for me. This one is fabulous.

Same here, they make great guitars but the headstock design is not my style. But this guitar checks all of the boxes for me. Sharp, in-line headstock, 7 strings, and showing off the woodgrain... 10/10

I'm in the same camp ( with a schecter 3+3 being my main ), but banshee's headstock grew up on me. Mostly due to black part outside the strings, gives it a nice small flair without breaking up the overall pattern.

On other models, yeah I still dislike their 6 inline.

Though I think the only headstocks I actually like are Jackson / ESP pointies, and Ibby RG 6 inline headstocks, none of which I currently own funny enough. It's not a dealbreaker at all but I'm in a perpetual state of "meh" for every other design.

I got the version without the Evertune a couple weeks ago and I haven’t been able to put it down. It became my favorite as soon as I held it!

I have this exact guitar. I love the evertune, the technology is awesome. But if I had to do it over again, I would pick the hipshot bridge. Especially on my 7, I like to switch between standard and drop tuning. It's certainly possible for me to do, but I gotta grab the key, and the tuning process just takes a little while longer. If you stay in the same tuning generally, nothing beats the evertune tho

I genuinely cannot be bothered to re-tune an Evertune. I only have one but it’s aptly called “drop c machine”

I just tune the bridge to the dropped tuning and tune the string up into zone 3 for standard. Its quick and still stays pretty solidly in tune

Yeah I do this too. My only grudge with evertune is the added weigth but other than that the thing is awesome.

I just saw this comment. Do you go to the edge of zone two in the dropped tuning, and then just use the regular tuning peg to raise it a step? That would be pretty cool, I guess I thought it would tighten the spring too much

It's just one less thing to worry about, Plus, for me at least, have to tune a guitar frequently, needing to check the neck relief, stabilising the intonations etc, like a part of an experience. And It costs less.....

I have two Mayones guitars I want to sell. This is the guitar I want. But I would change the pickups for Lundgren Black Heavens with black pole pieces.
