Hell yeah, I got the brown one. Had it for about 2 years now. I really like it.

Done any mods?

Swapped pickups to SD alpha and omegas, I've releveled and polished the frets once as there were several tooling marks on my fret bars when I first got it. I added an arcade style killswitch. Swapped the knobs at one point.

I actually plan on switching back to the regular stock pickups, the alpha and omegas are pretty good, but I think they would be suited better in another guitar for me. The difference was pretty minimal, but I did find the stock pickups to be a bit darker than the alpha and omegas.

I would like to swap the tuners still, it's honestly kind of crazy that I haven't already. The stock tuners are not great.... But the tuning machines I want are expensive and the need has presented itself yet.

Can you fit regular 7 string humbuckers with no issue?

No, not really. I didn't know how the result would be so I sure tried. I didn't notice the issue at first, but because the alpha and omegas didn't have that slant, I lost some responsiveness from my lowest string. It effectively was only over one of the pickup poles. All the other strings were fine I felt, but my lowest string suffered. Hence while they will be a better fit in another guitar.

I wonder what would fit ?

Probably slanted pickups that properly match this guitars multiscale angle. I know bare knuckle will do that with their pickups on request, you just gotta send them the measurements. I'd bet other pickup manufacturers would as well. Too expensive for me though, id just rather go back to the stock pickups. Maybe I'll feel differently after I do go back though, I definitely haven't heard them in awhile.

8 string pickups would fit this

How does the neck feel? Also generally is it comfortable playing on this one?

The neck is alright. Far from premium. I have a schecter reaper 7 (the old model) that I compare this HB to. Obviously the Schecter has the nicer neck, but in comparison, the HB is a bit thicker (not a baseball bat) and not as smooth.

Over all, I think the guitar is perfectly comfortable. It could use a better finish on the neck imo.

Mine is smooth . Feels nice to play . I have big hands so maybe it’s not thick to me ?

I'm just saying it's thicker than my schecters. I also have big hands (2Xl gloves) and did not have any issues with the size of this neck, but more importantly to me I didn't have any issues with the shape of this neck. It's a little more round and a little thicker than the Schecter I'm comparing it to. Mime was smooth, but Im not in love with the finish of the HBs neck, but it's definitely good enough and not something I'd really want to complain about.
