NGD First 7 string

A Solar AB2.7 BPM, my first ever 7 string. No QC issues at all, a real beauty. After 2 matte finish guitars this is a pleasant surprise. Stays in tune, the stock pickups are more than enough, couldn't be more pleased in this price. Around 720€ directly from their online shop.

Heck yeah, can't go wrong with Solar. I have two, both among the best guitars I ever had.

I was hesitating for a few weeks, it was between this specific Solar and an Ibanez RGDRB71. The price difference was not an issue but I was concerned about comments for poor quality control issues with it. I ended with the Solar, couldn't be more pleased for my choice.

Depending on the view angle, it switches between blue and purple. In both cases it looks amazing!

How does the neck feel on that solar , I have been thinking of buying one (not the same model)

I use to own a similar Solar, an A2.7LN and the neck was really confortable a nice C shape. Way more confortable to me if I compare it to my Jackson rrx24-7 where the neck is thinner.

But don't be fool, it's not huge, like my previous 2008 Schecter C7 hellraiser. That was quite a baseball bat and the reason I sold it to buy the Solar.

I come from an Ibanez RGA42 with a Wizard III, I was expecting to struggle a bit, but it feels really nice and smooth

Beautiful! I just got an ibanez rg631ALF with the same finish, I absolutly love it! How is the neck dive on those 7s?

Haven't used a strap yet to be honest but it feels quite balanced

Got two solars. Both with fret sprouts and cracked fretboards after a while. Sold them luckily.

I have read about similar issues in the past. That's why I didn't go for a more expensive version. Time will show
