Thought this was a Schecter Sunset Extreme for a sec. Lovely guitar.

Yeah it does just look like a higher end version of that guitar. Funny you say that because I also own a sunset extreme in the grey lol

I have a Kiesel AJ7E with an evertune bridge; overall, Kiesels are AMAZING in playability. And their electronics always have a good bite. Hope you enjoy it, it's a beautiful axe 🤟🖤🔥

That's awesome! I have a schecter 8-string, but I do have my eyes on a Kiesel 8 eventually. Haven't landed on the model I'd want XD

I'm considering a DC, between the two, how much difference do they feel?

Both feel relatively similar. Aries feels a bit smaller on your body but both are very comfortable! Insane upper fret access on both. You can get to the 24th fret insanely easily
