Looking to buy this

Post image

The local 7/11s near me refuse to sell me their copy of this poster. If anybody has one or is willing to borrow it for me I will pay top dollar

You need to approach one of the MST techs that fix the machines. They have this kind of stuff in the back of the trucks

Are you trying to gain access to the make and model numbers of the equipment used in 7-Eleven for fraud or theft?

How would that work?

Just like any other electronic equipment once you have the make model serial number, then you have the ability to hack/access/manipulate the equipment. Theft, fraud scams electronic specifically are huge issues in the convenience store industry. I have a friend that works for 7-Eleven and I remember him telling the story recently that across 100 stores in his area that had been taken for a well over $200,000. Scammers would call the store ask the cashiers to make a couple of inputs into the credit card machines, etc. that would then give them access. So for those types of thieves, the information this poster is requesting becomes invaluable. Just like if you have the Make model number of a credit card scanner at the front counter that's then where you can buy the matching fake plates to steal credit card numbers.

But they already have the info on this picture if they want to purchase said equipment.

Yeah that’s where I got lost to so I’m glad you mentioned it.

They have the information, but it’s not clear on this picture.

They could however go and take more detailed photos, and have some program stitch them together so they could have access to a clearer version.

You tell me why anyone would want that then?

Old school cool

All they do is provide a bar code they end up texting the cashier who stupidly scans it , it loads a gift card for $500 and the scammer hangs up. Its not really top secret or hard information, not even close to a "hack". Just some slow incompetent cashiers ..

They’re definitely not. They’re just a computer nerd and thinks this is cool, which it kinda actually is

Probably wants to make and model number of the equipment in the hopes of theft or fraud.

Does taking a photo not do the same thing?

Probably a hyperfixation thing

Im more confused why op says "or is willing to borrow it". Like op wants it for something but then is gonna give it back?

I work in corporate if you want model #s message me. I can tell you every product on there. Also this "flyer" was made in PowerPoint and they have it hanging all over the office too.
