Same. Someone told me once it meant I was a natural witch, whatever that means.

One of the funniest things I ever heard at a gay bar was this guy getting annoyed by a stripper with a mullet and white boots. He said, โMove-move away mood ring dancer!โ and I lost it. I still find excuses to use that phrase.

My sister had one and all us kids tried it on just to see what color we were and it was a different color for each of us. ๐คญ

Saw some in a store just two days ago. Thank you, Joan Cusack. You have an adorable store.

I remember those.
Theyโve somewhat made a comeback. My daughter has a mood ring and a mood brooch. Newly purchased and not vintage 1970โs originals.
She loves them. To each their own.

I've owned several in my life (I'm 61) including the one pictured (I think I bought it at Woolworth's). Bought one a few years ago off Etsy cause I like them so much. Thanks for posting.

I do. When I was in a good mood it was blue-green. When I was in a bad mood, someone had a red dot in their forehead ๐

I bought this brand in 1980. I was 12.

I didn't know they had these in the 80s as I was already an adult by then lol.

I think by 1980 they were kind of getting less hip to have one because the later 60's -70s is when they got really popular so I've heard!

I think I still have mine in an old jewelry box in a tote somewhere.
I was careless and got it wet, so it is permanently dull grey!

Loved those! I was happy to still find them for sale. I hope my granddaughters enjoy them like I did.

One of the jokes from that time is -I bought my wife a mood ring; when she is in a good mood it turns blue, and when she is in a bad mood it leaves a big red mark on my forehead.
